There has to be some sanity at some point on display.
Where is it on our side other than a few scattered guys like Pence, Cantor and Coburn?

I admit falling for Arnold’s persona, but he was out of his league. Look at Obama making health care pronouncements when he is totally unqualified. Pelosi, Obama and the rest believe in a global warming fairy tale and that the earth is about to be destroyed.
We have picked horrible crazy leaders.

Every word is true. I especially liked the ending.
We all need to go forth with truth.

It's going to take something truly tragic to happen in America to wake people up. Much more tragic than 9/11.
Most people I know don't have a clue and they don't care.

At first I thought the movie Idiocracy was just a funny flick.
Now I see it as approaching reality and I don't think it's that funny anymore.

Lowbrow = Someone that dallies in logic toward answering questions, but soon bores of it.. and asks another question.. without answering the previous one..

The intelligent hardworking people are out making a living. Very few of us have the sense of civil duty to want to enter the lion’s den of public office. Rush Limbaugh has said “I don’t want to take a pay cut”. COWARD I say!!!!!
To: bestintxas
That's not just incompetence. It takes special stupidity, almost a deliberate, willful absence of real thinking Best explanation of government and the MSM that I have seen to date. Not much more to say.

Negative consequences are the surest way to change human behavior, period. Sure, positive reinforcement works sometimes, but overall if you want to change someone you are most likely to succeed by making the undesired behavior painful. Sad, but true.
We are where we are today because we have failed to make certain that bad behavior is punished. Sometimes it's seems to be more trouble than it's worth. And there are dozens of other reasons, but when all is said and done people have been able to engage in bad, even destructive, behavior without paying the price in bad consequences.
California, and US, politicians have raided the public purse and lined their own pockets non-stop for 50 plus years now. And, with few exceptions, they've only benefited from the disgraceful behavior. They get great salaries, tremendous benefits, outstanding health care, reserved parking spaces, franking privilege for their mail, limos with drivers, the list goes on and on and on. And when they finally run out of ways to buy the votes of the citizenry using the citizenry's own money, they retire to a lifetime of plush comfort in the bed they spent all those years in office lining at, again, the citizenry's expense.
They don't even get voted out of office, let alone go to jail! Until we change that the follies will continue to grow bigger and bolder.

Oh, it is worse than awful, yet we are moving in that direction at lightening speed. I mean barry doesn’t sound much different than that wrestler belt wearing pres that’s in the movie.
