WESTWOODAmerican icon and pop singer Michael Jackson died on Thursday, June 25, according to breaking reports. TMZ first reported that Jackson, 50, passed away.
Jackson was known for his slew of popular songs over the last four decades, including "Thriller" and "Billie Jean" and for his now-legendary mini-movie/music video for "Thriller" which is still a very popular song and music video today, more than 20 years later.
Jackson was also known for his singular antics off the stage, including his wearing of pajamas to court appearances and apparently dangling one of his children off of a balcony.
According to available information, authorities responded to a call that Jackson was in distress early on Thursday afternoon, and soon after transported him to the world famous UCLA Medical Center.
MichaelJackson.com reveals that the singer and proclaimed "King of Pop" was scheduled to perform in quite a few concerts in the United Kingdom between July 8, 2009 and March 6, 2010.
Jackson would have been 51 this August.
Actually, this story is all over the web. I found two others. One says Goldblum is presumed dead in a plane crash and another says he is missing on a Luxury yacht that sank off coast of St. Tropez France.
Found them at Fakeawish.com
That’s *exactly* what I was thinking. I was just checking to see if anybody else had posted the thought. I just had to post in on this thread.
He sure gets around for a dead guy.
I'm not trying to speak ill of the dead, but for all those little boys sake, too bad there wasn't a hidden video camera in Michael Jackson's bedroom, so he could have gotten the appropriate punishment.
That said, the mother's of these boys are responsible as well, for being "bought off".
“I never thought of it as nomenclature, but then again I only have an associates degree.”
There are two definitions of “nomenclature,” one being a set of symbols used in technical fields, the other being simply a name or a designation.
Of course, I didn’t use the word because I’m oh so familiar with it’s dictionary meaning, rather because Walter once said to The Dude in “The Big Lebowski,” (paraphrasing) “Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.”
For the record, yes, the sort of person who throws random slices of dialogue from “The Big Lebowski” into his daily conversation is just the sort of person to dwell on the demise of a song-and-dance man.
Wow - we get more and more like the 70’s all the time. Rising unemployment and gas prices, Jimmy Carter 2 in the WH and Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett dominate entertainment news!
Why is Fox giving Al Sharpton air time??
Yea, OK.
If anyone is interested, Drudge has a link to his last photo-—kind of creepy.
Somebody needs shaking down?
LOL

I don’t know. Mask, ambu-bag? Looks like something he might have worn in concert.
So is he dead? other posts can’t confirm. I need a reliable source. PM me.
God have mercy on him and his family, but honestly, the man seemed evil incarnate, maybe more evil were his followers, willing to let Jackson “be” around little boys, for whatever that means....defenders to the end, just like the bamists....
“Shep is a Drama Queen and it was his way of pointing that being a colored kid is the lowest form of life and he went on to be the greatest human being to ever walk the face of the earth.
(meanwhile back in washington...)”
However unlikely was Obama’s election given his inexperience and such, it is much more to be expected that a prep-school kid and Harvard Law graduate would make something of himself than that some kid from Gary, Indiana with a dead-beat dad and scant education would become a multi-millionaire (perhaps billionaire?).
Perhaps not, but every so often folks troll DailyK and DUmmies.....
Ginuwine? Never heard of him...
“but to hear Sharpton speak about what he had to ‘OVERCOME’ to make it, I expect to hear the unreleased ‘house’ versions of ‘Swing low, sweet chariot’ any day now.”
Come now, he wasn’t a slave or anything, and there have been loads of poor white boys to strike it rich. But he did have humble beginnings, and by all accounts a rough childhood. Even within his own family he had to work hard to stand out.
RIP King of pop. Regardless of the last fifteen years or so, your impact on music will never be forgotten. You really are and remain to be an innovator.
