A real estate company whose owners have contributed heavily to Democratic causes apparently used articles and content on conservative blogs to justify bringing about pressure to shut down an Atlanta tea party protest scheduled for the Fourth of July an event that organizers estimated would attract 20,000 people.
The apparent plot was uncovered when blogger and radio talk show host Andrea Shea King noticed an unusual amount of traffic coming to her site earlier this month.
On Jun 16, Andrea Shea King emailed me, questioning a heavy burst of Sitemeter traffic coming from simon.com. She included screencaps of the traffic, two of which are reproduced below (click to enlarge).

Yes, that’s exactly who.
If we can't peacefully petition our government with our grievances, what's our alternative?
If they use acorn to steal elections so our votes don't matter, what's our alternative?
If they stack the courts against us and selectively enforce laws, what's our alternative?
If the tea parties don't work, will people feel compelled to go with another model, such as Bunker (Breed’s) Hill?
No alternate location available at this late stage that would hold that many people.
Most people do anyway..Simon malls are turning into huge dumps across the country and are always damn near empty 5 days a week.
Lock and Load
Go to the malls and go up to the register with what you would have purchased and after the clerk has rung up the purchase explain why you are not buying the items. Then tell them to tell their landlord.
I wonder if Simon Property Group Inc. (SPG) is too big to fail in Obama’s eyes?
Feces will be hitting the fan for commercial real estate.
Freaknik style? Humping on I85/75 near GA Tech isn’t quite our style. :`)
3. Show up armed and dare them to move you.
I don’t think that is a good idea as that is pushing the pain on the business owner not the mall.
The business owners are blameless. Don’t make their lives difficult. Just simply tell them why they are under a boycott.
Don’t be an arse to the employees.
I believe they are in bankruptcy.
Find some farmer outside of the city limits who’s willing to “rent” the land for the day....Dan’s Bake Sale style. Or just hold it at the Gov’nah’s mansion instead.
The Simons, owners of the Indiana Pacers and national mall blight, are big time democrat supporters.
They also use strong-arm tactics on their tenants. When Simons build a new mall, their tenants at other malls are told that they WILL rent space at the new mall, or be forever banned from all Simon malls nationwide. Same is true if a tenant even thinks about renting from a competing mall operator.
I will continue to not shop at the mall since this POS owns the one in my town.
The mall owner pulled the plug at the last minute, right before a big holiday and it’s for 20,000 people.
So....NO. there is no other place.
