In other pictures, I actually thought she looked a little bit like Sanford's wife, although less Northern European.
I don't think she's ugly, and if my girlfriend looked like that 15 years from now, I certainly won't be complaining.
Not worth destroying a marriage and career over though.

I am not a big fan of Romney to begin with and if he did this then I will actively work against him in the primaries. How is that for a definitive statement? LOL!

I have it but haven’t watched it yet. I think it is a great tool to make marriages stronger. I have a strong marriage now but at one time I did not.

Okay, guys and gals, answer me this: WHY does a woman entice a married man OR allow herself to BE enticed by a married man?
I'm divorced twice. My first EX was a Lutheran Pastor who was "counseling" a teenaged parishioner. Her Dad made it too easy for them to be in compromising positions. That marriage didn't last and she found someone closer to her age . . . she was 14 years his junior. My second EX had been flirting with a co-worker before we got married. Then he changed his job hours to 3rd Shift to be with her . . . on the sofa in the break room.
When I found out that a musician friend who was wanting a closer relationship was still married (they lived in TN) . . . he'd lied to me . . . I broke off the relationship. It took me two years to get over that. Shortly after my first divorce I had a married male friend who wanted more, but I respected his wife and refused. Why am I the "good person" who can't seem to find a loyal man?
WHY do women entice other women's husbands? Why do married men entice women who are not their wives?
Is it because marriage is no longer considered sacred and "till DEATH do we part" ~~ some ceremonies even say "until our love dies."

Opinion: it is because our society has ceased to comprehend the preciousness of taboos; the political correctness, tolerance mantra has been raised to a level of religious empowerment in a secularization hallmarked by ‘I’m okay, you’re okay’ and ‘if it feels good, do it’, and with it the real ability to fear God and control one’s lusts has faded into obscurity. All have sin and come short of the glory of God, but our sick society says ‘that’s okay, it’s human nature to be weak at times, no big deal, just say you’re sorry and move on.’ Confession is made for deliverance ... confession to God, not the media and or prurient interests. You might also want to check your discernment quotient, too.

Yep, been there, done that.
Had one failed marriage. Two kids were stranded by that one.
Remarried about 4 years later. Drug addiction, alcohol, very weird friends, infidelity. And we were childless.
Looked VERY bad.
Then Jesus came into our hearts and lives. Long story short: no drugs, no booze, no weird friends, and NINE CHILDREN!
But you will really enjoy “Fireproof”.

Leb Maronites are considered of mixed Arab, Phoenician, and Greek ancestry, although the Greek Orthodox population of Lebanon traditionally married only among their own. One of my fave writers, Nassim Nicholas Taleb is a noteworthy member of the Greek diaspora from Lebanon.
If you want to see the closest people to pure-blooded Phoenicians, just look at the Druze people (who have issues with inbreeding, but that's for another day).

Thank you for sharing that. I am so happy that you and your wife turned your marriage around, and that it is stronger now. What you wrote is truly a blessing to me, as I am watching people I love go through something similar. I pray that they find the same type of resolution that is in your personal story.
Blessings to you and your family.

I loved that movie. We did a study with that movie in church a few months back. It is a wonderful movie, and everyone I have loaned my copy to has been blessed by it.
If you haven’t already. watch the extra feature on the DVD called “Fireproof in 60 seconds”; it’s a hoot!
