Palin hits back at 'malicious' photo Posted: 10:22 AM ET
From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
(CNN) A week after a high-profile uproar with comedian David Letterman over the late-night host's joke about her daughter, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is again sharply responding to the appearance of her children in the public sphere.
Palin's latest response comes after liberal Alaskan Blogger Linda Kellen Biegel doctored a photograph of the former Republican gPresidential candidate with her 1-year-old son Trig, who suffers from Down Syndrome.
Biegel, who blogs in support of the Alaska Democratic Party under the name "Celtic Diva," superimposed a picture of conservative Alaskan radio host Eddie Burke over Trig's face in an apparent effort to show how close the radio host is with the Alaskan governor.
"Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child," Palin spokeswoman Meghan Stapelton said in a statement provided to CNN. "The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling."
Stapelton also suggested President Obama should speak out against such behavior from liberal activists.
"Babies and children are off limits," She said. "It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned."

No democrat will apologize for this. The democrat party does not do that. The democrat party along with its health plan that will withold care from those deemed unworthy will follow their German Nazi predecessors by putting the disabled in institutions where the “patients” all die within a year. The new Nazi socialists; Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuehrer!
Well, it's not the picture itself, but at least I have a sense of it.
I assume she is a member of Save the Whales.
Thank you very much for replying, Durus.
she is not the most attractive Rat I have seen!
Palin comes off as thin-skinned and as if shes hiding behind her kids. I understand the Palins pent-up desire to fight back, but this sort of focus gives them the wrong kind of publicityon several levels.
For many of her supporters this is exactly why we adore her.
She's got courage. Which is in short supply in the Republican Party,
you know, if we are going down, I am going down in flames with all out support for Sarah. RINOs need not apply.
The Appropriate Title on Pics of Biegel
Is Wide Load
classic political cartoon
Not when you take a photo of a child with Downs Syndrome
and muck it up to be funny.
That, plus-I’m sick and tired of conservatives just keeping their mouths shut. No more free passes to the liberal swine, particularly the media. It’s refreshing to finally see a republin that’s both Not a RHINO, plus has guts.
Woops=Republican
*Palin comes off as thin-skinned*
Gov. Palin has put up with more Sh** through the 2008 campaign to this day.
The smears, trashing, mega false claims that the court has thrown out at financial cost to her.
Constant lies, and goading.
I have followed elections for at least 50 years, and have not seen any other candidate trashed by the Left Wing
as what Gov. Palin has had to put up with.
Two entities are defining themselves right now. The left has defined itself downward yet again, trashing the children (one fourteen and another an infant) of a well respected Governor of Alaska.
Palin has done nothing more or less than define herself as mother of the year. So thanks lefties... (not to include you of course)
BTW, I just missed seeing the Magna Carta by four days at the Reagan Library when I visited on Tuesday.
Because of vulgar attacks against her children? I don't think she gives a damn anymore what people think, frankly. She's clearly decided to speak up for what's right, especially in regards to her kids.
A few weeks ago in Anchorage while introducing Michael Reagan for his speech, she had this to say about speaking out:
"Politically, if I die, I die."
I will fight for any conservative politician who feels that way. You betcha.
>>”Politically, if I die, I die.”<<
Esther 4: 16
“Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; (I)do not eat or drink for (J)three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way. And thus I will go in to the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
>>I will fight for any conservative politician who feels that way. You betcha.<<
Dittos!!!!! YOU BETCHA!!!!
As bad as this picture is — and it is horrible — the comments at CNN are worse.
THAT is what I’m talkin about. God Bless her and her family, yours too...
