I'm new at this and most likely have this in the wrong place, or I might be following the wrong procedures.
With the push from the White House and Congress on universal health care, I have been thinking that we need to find a way to hold the Democratic party accountable for whatever they put forth.
Here is the idea. What if we coordinated an email campaign (you know the ones that ask you to forward the email to 10 people-gag!) and the whole population started calling the proposed health care legislation Democrat Care.
My theory is that it would accomplish two things.
1. It would un-hinge many liberal Democrats and would put pressure on the Blue-Dogs.
2. If government health care passes, it will forever attach the Democrat party to a "service" that will fail and that will sooner or latter alienate every family in the country.
I could go something like this--
"Uncle Bob was denied cancer treatment by Democrat Care.
@*#$&*$^ Democrats!"
I am looking for input. Thanks.
I like it. But Michael Steele would be opposed on the grounds it might be insensitive to liberals. Just as he refused to label Democrats as socialists.
The weak, ineffectual GOP will never run with anything like this.
You are right, but they have no control over what “the people” call it.
The problem with the title “Barry Care” is that Barry will be gone in 4, and the Democrats will still be here. When it fails, and we all know it will fail, the Dems will just throw Barry under the bus. I think we need Dems under the bus.
Democrat con and they don’t care.
Democrat con and they don’t care.
Democrat con and they don’t care.
The masters here to stay.
