The biblical worldview says that we are a unique creation formed by a living God. But the humanist would suggest that our origin is from pond scum, apes, or monkeys.

There was a promo for the short lived TV version of THE BIG EASY, which featured this exchange between the characters played in the movie by Ellen Barkin and Dennis Quaid :

In my view, no one who has a secular humanist worldview can truthfully be called a conservative.

A person may subscribe to this conservative principle or that, but so long as he remains a secular humanist he is not “a” conservative. He is missing the glue that holds all those conservative principles together and makes them coherent.

I disagree with the notion that conservatism and morality represents the minority.

It is yet another lie by the propaganda wing (media) of the socialist party in the US.

The intent of the lie is to make us believe that we are the minority so that we will keep our mouth shut.

We better start getting serious about dealing with this enemy among us... who comes to us from an industry which was clearly compromised long ago and is now in our living rooms via cable news.

When members of the “conservative movement” are caught cheating on their wives with another woman, or for tax evasion, divorcing their spouse and “checking out” a new prospective spouse while the present spouse is suffering from a terminal illness, then the conservative movement has rotted on the vine even before it has fallen. We need to re-educate the children and adults about morality, fidelity, truth, and that we are a created being in the likeness of the Creator which the founders of this nation totally believed in. Then we can talk about other things. We have to stop masking the symptoms of our problems. We need to heal the problems themselves!!

We all fall short of the Glory of God. Just go back and read the letters of the founders of our country and their wives, their trust and believe in the Sovereign God of the universe and you will look into a mirror and gasp at how far we have veered off the track. All of us have a ways to go to match the sincerity and trust in God that our ancestors of the 17th & 18th Century had. Let us start at home. May our Lord God help us all. Human freedom to live but especially worship God is inherit in our Constitution. I am afraid we have grown way too complacent to recognize the true cost of freedom.
