John Boehner recommends this handy guide to the healthcare informercial from The Freedom Project.
A Guide to the President's Health Care Infomercial
Acknowledging that his thinking on the issue has "evolved," President Barack Obama says he could support a law mandating that individuals purchase health care coverage, with fines for those who do not, but he stressed that there must be some kind of waiver for those who are simply unable to afford it. (snip)
During the election campaign, Obama said he was opposed to a federal law mandating the purchase of health care coverage.

Now there is one hell of admission. Gees, who would support this plan or what ever it is.
Watch this crap? No way, hose-a. Ghost Hunters is on.
OK it’s on and ABC promises that tonight there are ‘real answers’
Real answers? How can that be since they are only showing it from the WH POV.
ABC has gathered 164 audience members.
Thanks for facing what most of us could not stomach. We chickens appreciate it.
Dr. Timothy Johnson speaking about what “The President” says
I will try and help...I can believe I am actually going to watch this, but I too have relied on FREEPERS in the past to update me when I couldn’t watch so I guess it is my time.
It’s a repeat. The Florida lighthouse gave me goosebumpbs!
How many agree that healthcare needs to be reformed?
Every one agrees.
How man agree that healthcare is fine as it is?
No one agrees.
South Park has Peruvian Flute Band rerun (Cute guinea pigs) followed by an all new Reno 911 - I’m There!
Doctor asking about choosing outside of plan versus inside plan care and question given to Obama about would he go outside of plan to take care of his wife/kids? He is talking about his gmas broken hip and says it’s a good question. Obama always wants his family to get the very best care. Then talks about problem about a “whole bunch of health care being provided that may not be making us healthier.” “This is one aspect of a ‘broader issue’ and ‘the status quo is untenable”
He is rambling about how we can’t sustain what is happening today, we have “quantity of care, but not quality of care.”
I have a closed mind...to socialism.
The first thing we need to do is NOT TO WATCH.
Darn!! I forgot all about watching that tonight. I REALLY meant to watch it tonight. < /sarcasm>
Did I really need the sarcasm tag?
That was his answer to that question and now Diane has moved on to neurologist Dr Conroy
Dr Conroy - “What do you do to convince the American public that there are limits to what can be done to provide care...” lost the quote
Basically who decides how many tests get performed that are apropriate.
President Obama: “We need to come up with a system that is uniquely American.”
How many agree that healthcare needs to be reformed?
Every one agrees.
How man agree that healthcare is fine as it is?
No one agrees.>>>>>
Republicans believe something needs to be done as well. It really irritates me that they imply or downright state that the Republicans want the status quo.
Why watch them and give them the ratings?
Boycott ABC and every television and radio station that carries their news.
Q. Would you abide by national healthcare plan if treatment for your family were limited due to costs or would you do everything you could to get them the best care?
A. He would always want the best care for his family. Status quo is not sustainable. Things have to change. Current costs are bankrupting us. We think we know what is overtreatment. We need to come up with ways to get the quality of care we need without continuing the current methods of too much quantity of care.
