Acknowledging that his thinking on the issue has "evolved," President Barack Obama says he could support a law mandating that individuals purchase health care coverage, with fines for those who do not, but he stressed that there must be some kind of waiver for those who are simply unable to afford it. I don’t think he cares for Michelle at all either. I bet that woman is one miserable human, putting on that happy face but relegated to the domesticationof digging in the garden, fashion..notice they never ask her opinion on policy questions like they use to Laura or Barbara Bush.

The Baby Boomers who have paid taxes for the past 40 years are going to retire soon and not be treated medically as well as the previous generation of elderly. Baby Boomers from 1946 - 1964 (?)
Honestly. I have a healthly 80 year old mother, already past her government calculated life expectancy. And what, are they going to force abortions of disabled children or deny them healthcare if you keep the baby? There is no plan here (or it’s so bad that can’t say out loud what it really is) and so much is at stake.
ANd don’t forget,,the GOVERNMENT GETS TO REGULATE THE COMPETITORS TO ITS VAPORCARE PROGRAM.
The jackass just admitted that what he’s trying to do with healthcare is tough now because of the economy. No $hit sherlock. When I first saw his budget, including health care, stimulus, cap & trade, etc., I told my liberal friends that it is as if someone lost their job and promptly went out and bought a $250K lambourgini on credit. Insane.

Q. Current estimates are 1.5 trillion to cover everyone. You mentioned 500-600 billion in savings from Medicaid/Medicare, 300 billion from additional revenue, that leaves about 300-600 billion more left. How are we going to raise that to get everyone covered?
A. Proposals include: taxing health benefits, cap deductions, surcharge on high-income individuals, other cuts. This is not an easy problem, especially in this economy. Americans always rise up and overcome. We have parties interested in all aspects of healthcare to cooperate and compromise to make this happen. It won’t be smooth, but we can’t afford not to act so I’m convinced we can get it done this time.
