You might be right. Oh geez I would not want to be this mom. The guilt and horror of “what could have happened” would haunt me forever.
We all have that horror. Even KosmicKitty wrote above that she had that horror and she thought it made her a questionable mom. It is that horror that kept her baby out of the dryer. It is that horror that will keep DJ MacWoW and I forever looking for the diaper cloth in the handbag, even though it has been there for decades. It is that horror that will prompt us to look around for a child’s hand even though they are off and married with their own. It is that horror that made us good moms. It is those that don’t have that horror that are not.
