Sanford is fast on his way to the sidelines where the only way he will get the time of day will be by criticizing conservatives. The last thing we need is another sleaze bag distracting us. He will resign his governorship shortly, and after that, he should spend the remainder of his life in quiet contemplation of how he can overcome his moral failures.

Wasn’t Sanford supposed to be one of the few shining lights in the Republican Party as far as espousing conservative ideas? Another one bites the dust, heck CHeney and Limbaugh, now that I think of it would make a compelling ticket for 2012.
