Yes , I post stories about swineflu deaths because that is swineflu news , & belongs on the swineflu thread.
Healthy children , young adults , & adults dropping dead within 4 days of getting the flu isn’t normal .
And in some of the cases I posted here they get the flu & there whole body shut’s down & they die quick .
Like this case

(((( Her son LaTowyn was a healthy, strong teenage boy. Then suddenly on Tuesday, the day before his 16th birthday, he complained of flu-like symptoms.
By Wednesday his body started shutting down. And everything just got worse. His kidneys shut down. And then his heart stopped pumping on its own. Just 48 hours after her son first became ill, he died. ))))))

I can post many more true stories of doctors , healthcare workers etc ...
who died from the swineflu & you wouldn’t care ....
You worship the mantra of the 32,000 number to proclaim your righteousness ...
You call me a panic / doomsayer for posting newspaper articles .
If your best friend died from the swineflu , yes I do believe you will still shout to the masses that the swineflu is no big deal....
I know many people in many towns & they never heard of the regular flu infecting so many people .
I went to school & HAVE never heard of a classmate dying from the flu . It never HAPPENED before !
You never hear of schools shutting down etc from the regular flu .
The swineflu was still going strong in the summer which is unheard of .
Execept for cruise ship novirus cases I’ve never heard of something so contagious before .
And then seeing this from the head of North Carolin’a Medical M.D. asking all healthcare workers to look out
for Hemorrhagic Pneumonia which can be a fatal symptom of the swineflu .

You never hear of Hemorrhagic Pneumonia with the regular flu.
I would love for you to find me one article from 1969 to 2008 that has multiply schools closing because of the flu or children dying from a flu outbreak !!!!!
I know teachers who have worked in the public schools , & they NEVER had a child die from the flu until this year ...

Yes , I post stories about swineflu deaths because that is swineflu news , & belongs on the swineflu thread. And that may seem admirable, it's still not the whole story is it? These articles contribute to a situation where people focus in on the terrible deaths, and don't have a complete understanding of the full scope of the whole influenza story. Out here in California we have earthquakes. After every earthquake the camera crews focus in on the worst demage they can locate. They then transmit those photos/video to the nation explaining what terrible devistation occured. Hey, the details they provide are accurate. It's still not the whole story is it. Then people back East flood the phone lines trying to find out how many of their relatives are still alive. That is precisely what is going on here. There is a focus on the terrible deaths, but no details about how most people have survived, and with no damage whatsoever.
Healthy children , young adults , & adults dropping dead within 4 days of getting the flu isnt normal. And people are also contracting this influenza and living. Strangely, I haven't seen one report of that.
And in some of the cases I posted here they get the flu & there whole body shuts down & they die quick. And in many more cases, people's bodies don't shut down and they live. Drat, what a sticky little factoid that is huh.
Like this case. Here we go again...

How many times are you going to reference the above report on this thread? It seems to be your go-to story. This boy was one of two people who have died in the whole state of Oklahoma. How do I know this, becuase you already pinged me to the original article. How many people contracted this influenza in Oklahoma, but survived? Well, you don't know do you. So as bad as this report is, it's not the whole story is it. This report is not actually productive. It instills fear, but provides no useful information unless your sole goal in life is to terrify people. This could be one person out of thousands who have contracted this influenza, but there isn't one word in the article about that. That makes it impossible to view this information in perspective. Is that productive? It may be if your goal is to panic people. And that's all I've been saying. Provide the information, but lets get the full story out there. Who are you, and what are your actual goals here?

This was another report that is as bad as the last was. We have no way of knowing what the full picture is here. Is this one of ten thousand people who have contracted this influenza, or is it one of five? Is this an example of a 50% mortality rate or an example of a 0.0001% mortality rate? Well..., we don't know. And that's my problem with what you are doing. You are only providing the terror inducing factoids.

who died from the swineflu & you wouldnt care... Why would you possibly think I don't care? That's a terrible conclusion to jump to. Of course I care, but this is a clear indication of your thinking here. If I object to one-sided terror inducing reports that don't provide a rational overview, I must favor people dying. Good grief! Is that truly what you think? If so, that casts you in a fairly interesting light.
You worship the mantra of the 32,000 number to proclaim your righteousness... I've worked in the medical profession for over thirty years. I am familiar with what normally happens in the flu season. Hospital counts escalate and people die. That's the truth of it. You have convinced yourself that only about 1250 people die from influenza each year. I'm not going to be able to change your mind. So be it. For your estimation to be true, less than one person per hospital in this nation would die each year of influenza. That is not the case.
You call me a panic / doomsayer for posting newspaper articles. I have explained fully why my conclusion is clost to that.
If your best friend died from the swineflu , yes I do believe you will still shout to the masses that the swineflu is no big deal.... Parents, spouses, children, other family members, friends, and associates die every single year from influenza. Every loss is a big deal. Every loss is not a reason to panic. Every loss is not a reason to publish another article on the 'pandemic' of influenza and try to scare the living bajeebers out of people.
The media could make a point of publishing an up close and personal accounting of every person that died from influenza each year. It would scare people to death. Would that be a good thing to do? I don't think so. Evidently you do.
I know many people in many towns & they never heard of the regular flu infecting so many people. Well then you know many people in many towns who don't have a clue. By making this statement you are also confirming something that I have brought up before. We have many people who are infected with this influenza, and very few who are actually dropping dead.
I went to school & HAVE never heard of a classmate dying from the flu . It never HAPPENED before! It happened before. Good grief. Many people die every single year from inflenza. Children and the elderly are the two most at risk groups. All of a sudden you are the expert on influenza and the CDC is just a no account organization that lies for whatever reason you think it does.
You never hear of schools shutting down etc from the regular flu. That's because you have never seen the government and media hawking the idea that the 'pandemic' is here like you are this year. The public health departments, the feds, the CDC, the NIH, and every mush for brain public education employee has had it drumed into their heads that this is it, the BIG ONE. In the end we may see quarantines as a result, and in the end find out that no more than the usual number of people have died. Is that what you want?
The swineflu was still going strong in the summer which is unheard of. There was 'some' flu activity. There was not a 'pandemic', as was predicted earlier this year. Tens of thousands caught the H1N1 flu, and did not die. You do realize that right?
Execept for cruise ship novirus cases Ive never heard of something so contagious before. Then you've never heard of influenza before. Interesting. Influenza just explodes in this nation each year. While it's a bit early this year, it's still not way out of line. I expect to see this influenza escalate just like other influenzas have. I expect to see many deaths. I expect those deaths to be painful for those around the patient. They are every single year.
And then seeing this from the head of North Carolina Medical M.D. asking all healthcare workers to look out for Hemorrhagic Pneumonia which can be a fatal symptom of the swineflu. A lot of people say a lot of things. That does not mean they are true. In cases like this where the hype is pegged to the max, a lot of things are said that shouldn't be. Over this summer we have seen a lot of people infected with H1N1. We had some deaths, but the populace by and large stood up well to this influenza. There is good reason to believe people will continue to survive this influenza, despite some people dying.
http://www.ncmedsoc.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/HemorrhagicPneumonia.pdf
You never hear of Hemorrhagic Pneumonia with the regular flu. How many instances of Hemorrhagic Pnemoina are you able to document? How many instances of H1N1 cases have there been? How many people have died? How many people have survived?
I would love for you to find me one article from 1969 to 2008 that has multiply schools closing because of the flu or children dying from a flu outbreak!!!!! You are a part of a self-fulfilling prophecy. There has been a massive effort to deamonize (if you will), this H1N1 Influenza. Earlier this year, it was extremely frustrating to see all the hype with very very few deaths. Every new outbreak was covered up close and personal. Still, very few deaths...
Why are the schools closing? I'll bet you can't guess. Could it possibly be because of reports like the ones you are flooding this forum with, that make it sound as if every person who contracts this infuenza will die a quick horrible death? Could it be because of the government agency press releases that have hawked the 'KILLER PANDEMIC' angle since the moment one U.S. Citizen contracted it?
I've never seen reason thrown out the window by so many people, as I have with this influenza outbreak.
I know teachers who have worked in the public schools , & they NEVER had a child die from the flu until this year... You know so many people. Very impressive. Still, you don't know of one person who contracted H1N1 and lived. Very strange...

Well said, DvdMom.
Like LJ said - if you don’t like hearing this news, don’t read the thread!
If the news here really bothers you go start an anti-hype thread and leave those of us who care about this topic alone.
As if the pravda media and Obama’s death czars are doing a fine enough job discounting the seriousness of h1n1. Sheesh.
