Iran Bans Prayers for "Angel of Freedom" Neda Agha Soltan (godless b*stards!)
UK Telegraph ^ | Published: 5:21PM BST 22 Jun 2009 | by Damien McElroy, Foreign Affairs Correspondent

Neda Agha Soltan, 27, was dubbed the Angel of Freedom after a video which appeared to show her being shot by a government sniper was posted on the internet.

Graphic scenes show Neda – her name means "the call" – walking with her father among demonstrators, then separately when she was shot as well as attempts to save her life.

Online posters of the woman covered in blood quickly emerged, included one modelled on a prominent image of Barack Obama during the last US presidential campaign.

Some online posts speculated the image would rank alongside that of the unnamed man standing in front of a tank in Beijing's Tiananmen Square in 1989 and the summary execution of a Vietnamese Communist prisoner by Colonel Nugyen Ngoc Loan in 1968.

Footage was posted on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook and was viewed by tens of thousands. Messages of sympathy and outrage flooded the internet following the posting of the videos.

The Iranian authorities have now sent out a circular to mosques banning collective prayers for the woman.

I like this photo of her much more. Shows the true beauty of Iranian women... unlike those photos with the abominable headscarve that is being forced upon them since 30 years by mad mullahs.

“The Iranian authorities have now sent out a circular to mosques banning collective prayers for the woman.”

God hates people who try to “punish” other people beyond the grave. Only He has that authority and I doubt He agrees with the Moon-worshipping mad mullahs of Iran.

I don’t think BO gets it. I doubt this situation in Iran is about Mousavi. Its about FREEDOM. But being a damn Socialist bastard, I guess BO doesn’t uinderstand that.

I like how these @$$holes suggest that she only "appeared" to have been shot. The comparison with the Muhammed al-Durra video is quite interesting. There they had no doubt that the boy had been shot, and who it was who did the shooting.

The mullets just went from despised to hated. They now have a face on their terror, a very lovely, innocent face. I wonder if this is now going to be too much even for the Rev. Guards to stomach. I'm sure this makes most rank and file soldiers sick to their stomach.

We'll see. Until now I thought they would keep arresting and shooting until the demonstrations ended. Now I'm not so sure.

I’ve never had any desire to Facebook or Twitter, but now I see a need for us to offer prayers up for Neda. If our brothers/sisters in freedom are banned from praying, then we will do it for them.

"So, thoughts are now being banned?"

The Feminazi Left and the Religious Right are the Thought Police here in the US.

The Religious Right doesn't have much political clout, but the Feminazi's have been behind much of the anti-thought legislation over the past decade or so.

Absolutely!

Lord Yehoshua, we pray for Iran right now. We pray that You will be with the protesters and that Your hands will be upon them. We ask that the Ahmadinejad regime and the mullahs be overthrown and that freedom will reign in Iran. We ask that You will be glorified in Iran and that You will be with those who are fighting for freedom.

We offer special prayers for Neda and that her soul will rest in peace. We ask blessings upon her family and we ask that she will be continually remembered as a martyr for the cause of freedom. Lord, bless those who are in Iran right now and let the country be liberated by Your Light. In the Name of Yehoshua Ha Mashiach, Amen!

“Merciful Father, I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment I beg only to live the next few minutes well. For all we ought to have thought, but have not thought. All we ought to have said, but have not said. All we ought to have done but have not done. I pray thee, God, for forgiveness.” In my opinion Neda lived her last moments ‘WELL’ and I hope that such courage would find a finial reward no matter what one’s faith was!
In my opinion there are many who to paraphase Shakespeare:
Gentlemen around the world now abed Shall think themselves accursed they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us.
Make roon in Valhalla for a Sister has come to join the band of Brothers!

“I like how these @$$holes suggest that she only “appeared” to have been shot.”

Because there is a video of her on Youtube that seems to follow her and her father in the crowd and they both turned a couple times to the person filming as if to make sure they were followed. I don’t know if there is a video of what she did that caused the shooting or the actual shooting itself. It’s just odd that some random person would happen to film them and then she is dubbed the Angel of Freedom.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m certainly not saying she wasn’t killed and I’m certainly not siding with the monsters. Prayers to all those who fight for their freedoms.

Just American special effects huh? Although I have seen death, the poignancy and context of this young woman's tragic death touched me greatly.

However, by linking it to Tienanmen Square, they are making her death a sign of futility.

Precisely.

The common view among them over there in Mullah-land is that the westernized bitch whore deserved it..out in the street wearing the blue jeans and exposing her long hair.

Kinda takes me back to ‘68 when those “God-damned Hippies” deserved the beatings they got in the streets of Chicago.
