(In the interest of full disclosure, I acknowledge upfront that a constitutional law professor and unabashed freedom lover wrote the following column.)
NBC pawns off a White House tour as news.
Former journalists, including Linda Douglas, Jay Carney, and Tom Brokaw, are officially on the White House payroll.
ABC provides a valuable prime-time slot so the Obama administration can air a healthcare infomercial.
Whats going on here? An Obama takeover of the media, thats what.
Just another industry notch in the presidents belt?

I wonder how NBC feels about ABC taking over the #1 Obama supporter slot?
but but but the one that bowed to him says they will represent both sides of the issue.
And oddly - while Obama was sitting on his hands - ignoring the Iranian protests - so was the "press". They ignored it right along with him - good little state run press knows their place...
Harry Smith of CBS is doing an “exclusive” piece this week with Bambi at the WH. This has become funny, sort of...
Harry Smith was giving Obama a feet rub during his “Obama’s the world’s greatest father” special this weekend.

If ABC no longer wants to accept its ethical obligations, some folks think its time to boycott the networks advertisers.
It will really hurt come football season, but I am giving serious thought to boycotting ESPN(owned by ABC) as well.
Any time Hussein's mug appears on my tv (which it seems to do more often than not) the channel gets changed immediately. It will not be tuned in to ABC Wednesday night. Come to think of it, (and I just checked their website to make sure) but I don't ever watch ABC so boycotting isn't going to be any inconvenience what so ever.
So many shows, so many networks not to watch - where do I start?
I don’t watch football so adding EPSN to my boycott list would be easy as well.
TURN THEM ALL OFF; refuse to buy from their sponsors.
"I have to admit though, it wasn't easy coming up with fresh material for this dinner," Obama said. "A few nights ago, I was up tossing and turning trying to figure out exactly what to say. Finally, when I couldn't get back to sleep, I rolled over and asked Brian Williams what he thought."
Obama didn't have to takeover the media; they threw themselves at him, begging to be ravished by the golden-throated 0ne.
It's new, and it's coming to organize your "community" and your life.
that would be funny were not the ramifications for our side and our nation so dire
the media made Obama possible
But that would be another universe, another time.
Some exclusivity, eh ?
Where I did some years back. Turn off the teeheevee.
I don't see The One's face every day because I'm not watching. I don't endure loud obnoxious commercials because I'm not watching. I don't endure boring programs with built-in laughter because I'm not watching.
