A Prince George's County woman fatally shot her husband in an apparent act of self-defense Saturday after he attacked her at the Capitol Heights duplex where the pair lived in separate units, according to police and neighbors.
Just after 8 a.m., authorities said, police were called to the home in the 700 block of Capitol Heights Boulevard on a report of a domestic dispute. In front of the house, they found Richard Marcellous Wilson, 30, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police said Wilson's wife fired the fatal shot.
The circumstances of the incident are unclear, but police think that the shooting "appears to have been in self-defense," said Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Prince George's police department. Wilson, police said, had violated an active protective order when he attacked his wife.
Rodriguez declined to name the shooter because she is a victim in the case and has not been charged.

"I never saw her scared," he said. "She might have really feared for her life and did what she needed to do to live another day."
McKinney said Wilson's wife had a security job.
Online court records indicate that she had made allegations of violence against Wilson. He was charged with violating a protective order May 15, and about a month later, court records show, he was found not guilty on an assault charge after his wife "invoked marital privilege after oath."

or MONK - don’t be a friend of any of the cast members if you want to live.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Or the Clintons.
I could see my ex doing something like this....filing a restraining order then asking me to meet up.
Last time I spoke with her, she kept saying she was afraid of me and what I might do. My response, “I was the one who woke up at 1 am. You were the one standing over me looking violent and screaming like you were gonna kill me.”
Her latest fear was that she gave our pastor a “bladed object that wasn’t a knife, but had a handle and curved blades”. She said she found it in my stuff tucked away like I was hiding it. I could not figure out what the hell she was talking about.
I called the pastor. It was a two-bladed folding knife with 4” blades. She was at the hardware store when I bought it. I bought it for a Freeper who donated a large sum to sponsor comedians at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center comedy shows I put on. I planned to get it engraved and fancied up because he collected unique knives.
The moment I got it home, she tucked it away. I had no idea where it was. I thought it slipped out of the paper bag we carried stuff from the hardware store.
If you ever read on here that I was shot in self-defense...don’t believe it.
She is trying to make mountains out of molehills to build sympathy. I just don’t know whether she is doing it to justify killing me or to justify some vicious legal action.
Clearly “Vicious legal action” If she was going to kill you, she would have done it at 1 a.m.
Kids involved?
I woke up just as she raised her arm up. I rolled off the bed, grabbed my clothes and rode away on my motorcycle to stay the night at a hotel. I got an apartment the next day.
I am trusting the Lord to meet out justice and judgment on our actions.
Well, the ‘Lord’ had better send an excellent attorney your way.

You may also need to find a lawyer willing to challenge the constitutionality of the “VAWA” - as that means she just has to be ‘afraid’...
