I believe it’s coming for sure. Obama,Holder et al are letting our defenses down and treating it like a ‘law enforcement’ issue now.....just like the last democrat President. They value the trial lawyers(money) more than American lives.

A pitot tube measures airspeed which is essential to keeping a plane in the air. If they fail to work a plane could easily crash.
Oh...like the Air France crash? Nope..this was an unattended bag that the bomb dogs hit on while they were patroling the terminal or baggage area. Right now they are saying not an explosive ‘device’. I wonder if it was explosives though? A bit of wiggle room in the report if you ask me.

The TSA explosive detectors are extremely sensitive, by the way, so the package could have simply been touched by someone that had spent 15 minutes around explosives and come up positive.
I was being facetious, I wasn’t serious. I do believe I put a SAR tag on the comment, maybe not, but I was implying that they would claim it wasn’t terrorism if they found explosives and use some wimp excuse why it wasn’t. Sorry if you take ever comment seriously, I will look for your ID next time I make a cutting remark and make sure you understand what I am implying!
A non-explosive explosives bag may have been sitting under an explosive explosives bag in a cargo hold.
A few altitude related pressure changes could pump residues out of the real explosive explosives bag into the cargo hold.

You may be right but whenever I see something like this I think test run, testing security for the real thing.
Good point. That is a highly probable scenario. Lots of drilling for gas going on around here right now too.

That’s what I always worry about as well. Especially around here. Both Love Field and DFW airport have alot of head covered Muslims working for the airport. I hate to be like that, but after 911 it seems like the muslim workers at airports has quadrupled and it is very suspicious imho.
