Israeli Jews are probably the last people who are likely to want to make any acknowledgement of Christ being the Messiah by using the term ‘Anno Domini’ for fairly obvious reasons.....

Of course you realize that the cross did not even begin to be used as a Christian symbol until the second century, and did not become popular until the 4th century.

I think the crosses come from some other source than early Christians.
