Is it a Cabrio? We bought a set several years ago and I would not want to go back to the agitator models. Easier to load and use and the water use is less, but you’re right about not green enough for the nitwits.

We use water then it ends up back in the lake. It doesn't get destroyed or disappear. I recall a TV commercial, perhaps 15 years ago, with an incredibly stupid actress stressing how we all must "...save water, because if we use it all up, we won't have anymore..."
The difference between genius and stupidity is genius has limits.

I certainly dont want to stay at a hotel that uses this either. Doesnt sound sanitary to me.Good point. Even if these beads somehow remove and absorb bacteria, it seems unlikely they'd be able to contain them from release into the next load.
New upscale hotel marketing slogan: Linens washed with water.

And since it doesn’t actually have to get your clothes clean...

Can you imagine hospitals, and other health care facilities, using these things? I don’t even want to think about it!
