Jeff, there will be no honest and open elections here in 2010. Remember who we’re dealing with. And they’re loading their pants over what’s happening in Iran. They’re scared of what the Tea Parties represent here.
Fearful wanna-be tyrants do desperate and stupid things. They’ll go to any length to stay in power. Because they are driven by the Will to Power. They are worshipers in the same pew as Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro and Stalin. Demons dance on their empty altars.
As Lurker has said, there is only one way this can end.
Many had the same thoughts with Carter because of the depth of his and his administrations ties to marxistic thought back then in those very bad times.
We must be prepared if we are unsuccessful, indeed, we should always be prepared, but we also have to work for it and do all in our power to make it work according to the constitution.
I will not, and cannot give up on that until they force it themselves...although, as I say, we should be prepared for them to do just that at any time.
