What a difference just a couple of hundred SKS rifles would make against the Basij.

It's the Basif on the rooftops who are armed and doing most of the shooting. I keep waiting for several hundred of these people to take some of them down sometime (if they havn't already) and pick up the resulting rifles.

One of the Basif HQs was burnt down last night so I imagine some arms are already filtering out there.

It is surpriosing that after that incident, the Mullahs didn't take the gloves completely off. Makes you wonder just how many loyal military they have, willing to go that far?

If they have what they deam enough, and go for it, that's when you will see whole sale military and police units turning on the despotic units and go to civil war.

My guess is the Mullahs fear this and that is why they are trying to sit it out with less force...in fact, I can think of no other reason for these fundamentalists to do so.

All the more reason for our administration to encourage the fall of the mullahs.

You can bet Bibi and the Israelis are, and with more than just words.
