Irish property prices have plummeted since 2002. But a "cottage" in County Galway owned by Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd has tripled in value during the same period, according to a financial disclosure form filed by the Senator this month.

There are two possible explanations for this remarkable turn of fortune. Maybe Mr. Dodd is luckier than a leprechaun. Or could it be that he paid well below the market price...

Nice to see once again that Burris is far from the only crook in the Senate. I'm beginning to believe that there isn't an honest man in the whole of D.C.

This will all come to nothing. He will continue to steel as will all the other royalty in the Senate and House and he will continue to be reelected.

Far too many people in this country have been given the franchise. The right to vote was never intended to be given to those who live off government largess or those who are too stupid to pass a basic civics exam. As the Democrats have been able to pervert the process of registering and voting more and more illegal and stupid voters pull for the D.

We may need another revolution.

If this isn't a quid pro quo I don't know what is. OTOH, the Clintons walk free after far more and many serious fits of corruption.

“I’m beginning to believe that there isn’t an honest man in the whole of D.C.”

Not true. It’s just that the honest ones don’t tend to work in buildings that border the Mall.
