They would have mattered a week ago when it really counted for something. Now it looks more like political posturing than real convictions.
He should have thrown away his Das Kapital, his Bill Ayers memoirs, his favorite sermons of Reich Reverend Wright, every book his buddy Hugo Chavez gave him and the rest of the leftist and/or racist propaganda that has informed his world view. He should have read everything he could on Ronald Reagan and then he would know what to say and do.

Simple, Obama should state that the United States will not support any regime who use violence against their own citizens. Then look directly at Hamas in Gaza and say, “any regime.”

Yeah, Obama should announce that the United States will not monetarily, militarily or charitably support any regimes that slaughter their own citizens or ountries that support regimes that kill their own citizens.
In addition, the United States will demand that any countries behaving in this manner and their supporters be thrown out of the UN immediately.
Finally, put Iran back on the terror list.
