He caved. Finally. I started reading this and thought oh this is a statement from I’manutjob.
Lame.
He should have done this last week. I knew Ronald Reagan. And you are no Ronald Reagan.
That's a big "if". I suspect the Iranian government doesn't give a flip about what the world thinks of them, any more than the North Korean leaders care. The world's two most despised countries in the world and neither cares a wit. For me - I back the brave Iranian people. And the poor beaten down North Korean people. Eff their leaders.
The damned cowardly idiot. “As i said in cairo” found a way to make it about him. The low-life.
A man convinced against his will,
is of the same opinion still.
President Obama can't even make a strong strongly worded letter....
Where did he get his training, the Rodney King school of diplomacy?
1) This would’ve been OK (sort of) had he immediately released this statement. As it is, it’s weak, and he’s about a week late. That makes it totally useless and pointless.
2) Again, he tries to interject himself as some kind of final authority on How The World Should Work. Narcissism at its finest, yet again.
3) As someone else pointed out (and I think it’s worth repeating), mullahs and Persians don’t give a flying you-know-what about MLK. I’d be surprised if any of them know who he is. This seems to be written for an AMERICAN audience, as a sort of, “See? See? I care! I really kinda sorta do!”
4) This is such an amazing display of weakness. If we can see it, you can bet your @$$ that every tinpot dictator on Earth sees it, too. And that’s REALLY bad.
Why should a POTUS need to invoke that ephemeral fraud of liberal foreign policy, the “international community,” unless he's afraid of making a statement that could be interpreted as unequivocal?
He needn't worry. The foolish false pretenses have been preserved and the cowardly fence-stradling continues for all to see.
Response from “ConNews” on Twitter:
“Obama has transcended color because when he speaks he comes across as yellow and I see red.”
LOL!
This seals it for the mullahs.....
He needs to show Iran that he can govern without coercion and quit ramming new spending down our throats in constant crisis mode.
obama will NEVER address or utter “vote fraud” or anything akin to it......
The One has spoken.
It's all so clear now.
What on earth is he talking about??
Better late then never? Obama shows once again that he is an empty suit.
Instead of quoting MLK, he should have quoted Reagan.
Of all the masterful and historical statements from war time US Presidents and infamous leaders of other countries, Obama chooses this from Martin Luther King, “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” He just keeps on removing himself from any association with the greatness of this country.
The white hater had to quote Martin Luther King, rather than Lincoln or anything from our own Civil War.
The Magic Negro has his relevant audience confused, the Iranians are not black.
While the blacks (with the help of the whites) did fight for their rights in the 60’s, it was nothing like this and it was not a fight for a change in the entire government.
In the mean time, the people of Iran are rising up in many, many cities and fighting.
