The Iranian revolt, IMHO, is a clear, positive punctuation on the policies of supporting liberty and engagement by George Bush. There is freedom on both sides of Iran now and the people (and the Mullahs) know it. Obama is trapped, and cannot change his policy of disengagement and appeasement to get on the right side of history here...that would mean disavowing himself and all he has said for the last several years, which he will not do because it will expose him for what he has always been.

It is a way to communicate in real time. We are getting information out of Iran by people on the ground. They are using their iphones and blackberries (cell phones) or they could be on a computer posting information.

They need arms and they need our support.

My prayer is, that like in Russia when they sent the tanks in to stop Yeltsin and the protestors...that the Iranian military, will refuse to kill their own in such numbers.

Then they will have their arms. I would be surprised if this is not already happening.

Look at those crowds...I believe it will mean civil war and a revolution for these people...but that is the cost of liberty.
