House Agriculture Chairman Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) on Friday said climate change bill negotiators are heading back to the drawing board after discussions between Democrats blew up last night.
Good. just cancel the whole damn thing.
They always have to ponder how long they can keep fooling people with their Demonrat myth. Some naturally get shaky when they realize things will blow up in their faces when their radical agenda takes its toll on the poor they are supposedly for.
Who gets the work done behind the scenes when preparing congressional bills? I associate negotiators typically with unions, reaching deals, collective bargaining.
Ding dong the hoax is dead, the real ruler of earth's climate, the sun god has killed it. I don't think even Al Gore could go up their and coax it back to life. Check your driveway --- 'Ra' buried it in the driveway snows.
Now where will we get food? Food crops love warm, hate cold.
Don’t complain. It may be the best news we get all day.
It’s among the congressional staffs where these battles are typically fought, quite ferociously. I’d like to have been a fly on the wall at this particular session, where the farmers lobbyists squared off against the environmental lobbyists. Sounds like the farmers won.
Where are the front page articles on Democratic in-fighting? The fighting between the hard-left and the party moderates. mmmm, seems like a much bigger story then all the reporting going on about the fighting in the minority party.
I like your, “Ding dong the hoax is dead.”
I wrote my congresscritters a couple of weeks ago and asked them how putting a tax on U.S. production was going to change the activities of the sun. Have not received any responses. Must write again.
Its encouraging to know that (at least for now), there are a few Dems who refuse to mix up the Kool-Aid for the rest of us to drink. If nothing else its because they saw the backlash coming when the industries in their districts shut down while taxes and energy costs go up. Whatever the reason, good on ‘em.
I just wish there was video of Pelosi’s reaction.
Standard ruse to get us conservatives to drop our guard.
They’ll agree to something...for sure.
It will be the same in the Senate. Northeastern and Pacific Coast Democrat Senators will face off against Democrat Senators in the Heartland.
Farmers and people in flyover country will pay the piper for this bill. I drive 1 mile to a grocery store. Folks in Wyoming or Montana may have to drive 30 miles or more to one.
I don’t burn gas to do my job - other than electricity. Farmers and ranchers burn LOTS of gas to do theirs.
This bill will not pass. Ditto health care. Republicans will be blamed, but it will be Democrats in primarily rural states that will nix both bills.
Congress HATES when you ask them questions...
They prefer you just send in your contribution. Dont question them...
I hope you are right. In the meantime, we need to create immense pressure by attending TEA parties locally and in D.C. We have to push back - hard!
Something will pass the House, this is a priority for Obmama and Pelosi. Does not matter to them one iota that the myth of Global Warming has been debunked, they’ll just keep telling the same old lies. However this winter might just wake EVERYONE up, should it be as cold as I suspect it is going to be. Get your firewood early!
You mean, there are SANE minds among the Democrats? Wonders Never Cease!
I have a really good feeling that perhaps Obama’s big bills like healthcare and climate change just might be a pipe dream for the left? Reality like the unemployment and high taxes both will cause are just abit too much for midwestern bluedogs to take and they realize their political carreers will be over PDQ if both pass.
