I’m sorry, but looks are deceiving...I have heard very mixed things about her..but if you read the emails put out she came off as a bit of a bitch. Sorry...I hate to say this, but I think she needs to grow up. If she were smart, she’d graciously move on. Leaving the pageant is the best thing that could happen to her...anything else that comes out can only hurt her. They made her a star...Think of all the wonderful things she can do now.

I disagree with you. There is NO moving on when the leftist elements who control such things as this pageant blatantly discriminate over political and world views. The suppositions about Prejeans character of being hard to work with or even a “bitch” is all hearsay and unsubstantiated. These pieces of trash have made it clear in California that a war for our national soul on the issue of marriage is on and that all is fair...you have taken a position, in my opinion, that enables them by taking away a thorn in their side were Prejean to “move on.”

I read those emails too, and she definitely sounded snippy and worse, from a business standpoint, she didn't seem to understand that she and the pageant people had to work out an efficient system not only for scheduling her appearances but also for prioritizing her appearances.

These pageants are businesses, and even though these women wear tiaras and sashes, they have to be as focused and savvy as any other high-profile professional.

But I think Carrier Prejean will do fine outside the confines of the pageant circuit. In fact, she'll probably be making more money and more appearances this year than she would have as Miss California.

Was Prejean an activist? No. Did she come into this contest with a chip on her shoulder? No. She was asked a pointed question and she answered it honestly.

It cracks me up how the left talks about character when it’s a matter of supporting something they agree with, then smack down people who stand up and disagree with them.

The Miss USA manager had a chip on his shoulder. The person who asked the question did too. I think they should be fired.

to SOME 'alternate sexual orientated' men, hetero women are competition for men, i.e., women are the enemy that must be replaced within society. Because women are competition, they are reduced in the minds of SOME to the status of lesser human beings, which leads to much of the ridicule and hypercriticism. (ever notice most modern models have boy figures, and are more androgenous-looking than feminine looking?)

Finally, someone in the press asked if Lewis was gay. It sure provides context to the issue. Too funny that Trump, who thinks he is a ladies man owns an organization dominated by queens. Miss USA has always been the lower tier contest and still is, for obvious reasons.

I think Trump got taken by Lewis and will wise up.
