Paraphrased from today's Detroit News: ... Federal agents indicate they have evidence of Conyers accepting payments totaling at least $6K in exchange for Conyers changing her vote on a $1.2 billion contract from Synagro Technologies in 2007.
Conyers would not discuss the case with reportes but did say that those who are not praying for her are "just adding to the problem".

I’ve never prayed for the woman in my life - EGAD - I feel so guilty. I am the problem! She can’t overcome the temptation to accept bribes without my prayers.
I am amazed. Also, I am amazed that she touted Detroit since Obama is going to bulldoze it. That interver is great. I like him.

Interesting. Maybe that would be best for her.
Regarding the interview:
1) She should have been intelligent enough to figure out pretty quickly that the interviewer was making a fool of her. Even Barney Frank would cut off such an interview.
2) She apparently didn’t even know from what paper the interveiwer was from before she agreed to the interview.
3) And worst of all, she was stupid enough to WILLINGLY agree to re-enact with the interviewer an episode that occurred during a Detroit City Council meeting (where she called the president Shrek) that made her look like a complete moron.
Unbelievable.

This is a town that has always had plenty of prayer. I can't imagine not having room for a prayer for Monica. She needs it more than most of us.

Can we have her husband, Rep. John Conyers join her because of a nice little issue called filing false tax returns, due to that nice little $6,000 amount in bribes they received?
