You can't be loved and adored by everybody, but if you're President Barack Obama and it concerns the media, you can come awfully close.
In an interview on CNBC's June 16 "Closing Bell" with the network Washington correspondent John Harwood, Obama reflected on the media coverage he has received to date. Harwood asked the president to respond to the claim that lack of media criticism has allowed him to "hurt" the country.
"When you and I spoke in January, you said, I observed that you haven't gotten much bad press," Harwood said. "You said, It's coming.' Media critics would say not only has it not come, but that you've gotten such favorable press either because of bias or because you're good box office that it's hurting the country because you're not sufficiently being held accountable for your policies. Assess that."

We don't call him Hussein for fun. Just like his probably-not-so-distant-relative Saddam, The First Muslim Thug cannot abide anything but absolute, complete 100% love & adulation.
If he lasts into his 2nd year (not 'term', 'YEAR'), he'll probably set all criminals free because they are guaranteed votes (despite all the laws forbidding this) and put that 47% of the population in prisons where ObamaCare will see to it that we're all literally lobotomized.
“... he;ll have the names of those of us on FR somehow.”
It would be nice if they sent us all to the same “re-education camp.
White guilt is what elected this man.
White guilt is what is still keeping them silent.
I remember when Bush was confronted with protesters or other forms of criticism, he would always say he was happy to live in a democracy where these people have a right to express their views.
Obama certainly isn’t very comfortable in a democracy, is he? He would fit in better in a country like Zimbabwe, where he could do a Mugabe. Those rulers tend to have a sword of Damocles hanging over their head, though. It’s a tough world.
Ah stop, you’re making me cry.....
When the GOP gets control of the White House (and Congress) can the President simply bar ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, The New York Times, Newsweek, Time, etc. for obvious liberal bias?
>We are truly in a Cold civil war.
Hm, very good way of putting it.
It’s not just the “Right-Wing Extremists” either, look at how jumpy/nervous the administration/news-networks are... they’re waiting for one sharp event, either a crazy, or more probably a group of patriots ACTING on the belief that “enough is enough.”
Thank you FOX!!!
Every news outlet should be attacking obama and his communist policies!
“When did it become the job of the media to post POSITIVE stories on anyone?”
You are so correct in asking that question.
There is something so wrong with this whole interview.
It is now assumed that the media’s job is to support and not analyze.
The typical NARCISSISTS response.
Peel it off of the wall, stick it back in your nose, and recycle the stuff. Gives a whole new meaning to green.
We need to demand he resign with all the voices we can muster.
Obama hasn’t seen criticism.
Put me in charge of one of the networks. I’d become the center of his hatred real fast.
Moreover - this whining is pathetic. ABC just gave him a bunch of air time to sell his ObamaCare. What happened to “The Fairness Doctrine” so we can “hear the other side”????
*Shakes head*
Shep luvs ya
And I refer from not only Congress but also to the Supreme Court. It will be an interesting book to read in 75 years.
