Not picking a date for the prom? Are you inept?
I’ve been talking about our statesmens. Elected official whose decisions/policies affect not just their citizens, but the global economy for generations, not someone whom rapes your wife and daughter.
The rapist isn’t an elected official. An Air Force officer isn’t an elected official, hence the red herring.
It’s ironic that you would use an analogy such as the aviator shooting a missile out of the sky. Under our current administration, I doubt O would give the okay if we were face with such a crisis, hence the point of my post.
A man’s character, or lack thereof, are reflected in his behavior. If a statesman can’t manage to keep his own marriage vows, I don’t want that man leading our country.
It is that simple.
How in the world does the fact that a private sin has become public effect, in any way, the PURPOSE of elected officials in a representative Republic?
We are NOT voting for people who live like we want them to live, we are voting for people who VOTE, on LEGISLATION, the way we want them to VOTE!
It is childish, naive, and self defeating to consider these personal failures, and voting issues, any other way.
It is also self-righteous.
Our country is in DIRE condition.
The sexual habits of our Founders were, most likely, not at all Saintly, for all of those who signed the Declaration or who attended the Constitutional Convention -—
But their final judgment is for God to decide.
I simply thank GOD that they were there, in the right place, voting the right way, when we needed them.
Just as I feel about our police and firefighters and our military.
