OKLAHOMA CITY The paramedic who scuffled with an Oklahoma highway police officer while a patient waited inside the ambulance says the trooper should lose his badge.
Maurice White Jr. said Tuesday on the CBS "Early Show" that trooper Daniel Martin was in a state of rage when he stopped his ambulance and totally disregarded the patient's safety.
Martin stopped the ambulance May 24 for failing to yield.
White says he got out of the ambulance to tell the trooper they were taking a patient to the hospital. The argument quickly escalated into a scuffle and Martin put White in a choke hold.

Seriously ketsu! That is really not necessary and not how adults argue their point of view.
So you and the cop says, the EMT guys says no. If the cop and you have a picture please post it. Otherwise I just cannot believe the little out of control cop.
Reading what, if it was about the statement by the other cop it was from the post I responded to.
Do you have a link to the sane OHP statement?
Thanks.
Thanks. I found the post and asked that poster for a link.
I see it as a man that says he is an EMT trying to stop the cop from talking with the driver.... there is the possibility that if the EMT returned to the vehicle, the cop would have given a warning or been open to the patients presents...I don't know what happened in the last 4 minutes. But the EMT was in the wrong for trying to stop an officer in traffic stop, its his job to talk to the driver no one else...
“...The officer will likely be fired...”

GOOD! I really hope he does.
I hate cops who are on some kind of an ego trip.
Are you one of them?
Going from calling me stupid to calling me a Nazi.
Your arguments just keep on getting more and more persuasive, don’t they?
You’re right. He was simply choking him. Far worse.
>> After you say you hope the cop’s wife gets a case of Jungle Fever, it’s a little bit late to un-play the race card... <<
By playing the race card, I meant using racism as a basis for punishing the cop. My point in un-playing the card is to assert that the cop’s behavior is despicable no matter what his motivation was.
That is simply not correct. A choke hold is far more dangerous than what you saw on the video. It is far worse.
By playing the race card, I meant using racism as a basis for punishing the cop. My point in un-playing the card is to assert that the cops behavior is despicable no matter what his motivation was.
Sorry for my confusion. One so rarely sees the term "Jungle Fever" in an argument that is not racist.
Looking through your past posts you seem to be an agitator and someone who is validated by seeking confrontation.
Then again, you may seriously suffer from a nervous tick
Later, tater.
When you are intellectually bankrupt you fall back to the childish position of name calling. Cuz you got nothing.
Many people have posted with great conviction that the EMT “outranks” the Officer in this case. Others have relied on those posts to condemn the officer’s actions, to the point of charging that the officer is guilty of a felony. After all, he was “outranked”, etc.
By referring to the fact that the officer has not been charged, I am looking for objective information from an outside source, rather than just relying only on what others have posted on this thread.
It could be that the people who have posted that the chain of authority in this case are clear are absolutely right. That has not been my experience, but I will admit that my experience in such matters is limited. That is why I am looking for external confirmation.
For instance, if the officer were being charged with a felony, which so many people here have said he obviously committed, in front of witnesses and on camera, that would be powerful confirmation that what the officer did was, in fact, a felony.
If the officer is not charged with a felony, for his actions in front of some many people and caught on camera, that might indicate that, perhaps, what he did was not a felony.
Would that really have been enough to show the officer's wife that, despite bedroom performance, he was really manly?
Who have I called a name? Certainly not you, Vendome. We have argued before, and I have great respect for you, and would never call you a name.
I guess you might construe that I called dangus a racist in post 154. I did not mean to cause any offense, dangus, and I apologize.
I am so sorry! I was talking about the idiot savant, Ketsu.
I have always enjoyed our interactions and look forward to more.
Please accept my apology for the misunderstanding you were not the object of that post.
