Right. And it is a very important distiction. Had a big flame war the other day with someone that did not grasp that distinction. The cops screwed up. The point where they screwed up was not from the time she refused to drop the knife until the time she was dead. (assuming they had no Tazers) However, even though that was not the time of the mistake that does not mean they did not make mistakes.
