militia equals Mullah thugs. At least the military is not getting involved yet. If the Mullahs retain their hold on power and the military defied them, heads will literally roll...

Has “The One” even said anything about this?
Or is he hoping it goes away?

Exactly.. better to die at the hands of a dictator than live under one.

Are these native Persians in the militia or are the mullahs using the Arab Hezzballah mercenaries to do their dirty work?

If the military gets tired of beating their own people and if the protestors can outlast the police..

If the military gets tired of beating their own people and if the protestors can outlast the police.. I agree, the mullets and nutjob will never let go of power. It will take the military breaking from them to change anything. And I don't know if that's possible since they've cut parts of the military in to so much graft.

Supporters of reformist presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi carry his poster, during a rally in Azadi street in Tehran, Monday, June 15, 2009. Hundreds of thousands of supporters of the reformist presidential candidate attend a silent rally against new elected hard line president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

We know how this worked out in China. Let's hope the Iranians do better against the forces of tyranny. [Let's hope the Americans do better too when it comes down to us against the Community Organizer. ]
