FYI, the compilation of Pro Betting SCF Game 7 Odds was Win: Red Wings +1.85, which is a very strong + number. Some of the Detroit players crying on the bench after their defeat were not the only ones *lol*. IMO, the Penguins comeback season will be remembered as one of the great moments in NHL history. Pens were 50-1 Stanley Cup win odds when the playoffs started.

I didn't get home from work till around 10:00 pm Friday night. I was getting my briefcase and files, I brought home from the office, out of the trunk when GF opened the garage door and yelled, "hurry up and get in here, Pittsburgh is winning". I said "you kidding", and she said no it was 2-0 at the end of the second period. I could not believe it. I didn't think the Pens had a snowball's chance in hell of winning in Detroit. We sit down to watch the 3rd period, and I learn Crosby is hurt, and out of the game, and Talbot scored the two goals - wild. The 3rd period was like Game 6. Detroit was all over Pittsburgh. I'm happy for Malkin on winning the Conn Smythe, but IMO Pens would not have won the Stanley Cup without the brilliant goaltending Fleury showed in the playoffs when he had to make the big saves to deliver game wins.

I'm going to watch the DVRed Game 7 1st and 2nd period tonight along with the live internet recorded parade today. Great year to live in Pittsburgh!

Hey Airborne, re your posted photo of Alyonka Larionov and she was Malkins' GF. Did Alyonka dump her boytoy Alex Overchkin for Geno? Maybe that's why he hated Malkin so much in the Caps series - funny. Looks like good Game 7 ratings. ~ fla

I've watched game 7 probably 4 times now. It's an instant classic!

As for Larionov, Geno's parents were riding with him in the parade, along with a blonde with a long braided ponytail. Not sure if it was her or not.

If you check out the slide show link I posted at # 93, look for Malkin and his parents riding in the bed of a pick up. Then look at the blonde riding with them. I think it’s Alyonka Larionov riding with them!
