What I find interesting is that even though Mousavi called off the protests this morning(Iran time)due to fear of people being shot, that didn’t stop the people from coming out anyway.
Thanks for the link to the pics, I hadn’t seen a lot of those. I find it telling that the police smashed computers at the University when they finally broke into it.

Officially the Besijji are hardcore martyrdom-worshipping fanatics, bright members of the Ashura Battalions, etc, etc

They are making enemies fast. The Basiji are wandering the crowds with clubs beating people. Although the protesters don't have guns, it's only a matter of time before a bunch of Basiji are swarmed by people with knives.
We also have reports of Arabic-speaking non-Iranians being imported (Hezbollah from Lebanon and elsewhere) and being used as Besijji.
