Truthfully, both are outrageous. When someone with GOP ties does such things, it makes it easier for the Dems to allege we’re all racists. And the Press is happy to report it as fact.

Columbia Mayor Bob Coble appears to have seen no clear jest at all. He told WIS10: "You know, I think the comment is inappropriate. It's a racist comment."Probably so, Bob. Deal with living in an imperfect world.

It’s a tasteless comment. We don’t need to defend it, it ought not be defended.

I predict by the end of the day, the MSM will be obsessed by this political NOBODY's Facebook comment when we have a current Vice President who said "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," while referring to Obama during the primary race. As far as I'm concerned, that's the same or insinuating that Jessie Jackson "is not" articulate and bright and clean or a nice-looking guy. How does a white American male get away with saying something like that???

Is it me or does the press characterize any GOP member involved in any controversy as being “prominent” even though we have never heard of them? Maybe it’s me.

Every time a liberal really screws up in public, the democrats MORAL EQUIVALENCY RESEARCH SQUADS take to the field, rooting out republican acts of transgress, minor or major, that they can blow up and exaggerate to cite examples of “they do it too”.
The media not only aid and abet these witch hunts, they lead the way as the faithful suckling servants of the dishonest left.

"I'm sure it's just one of Michelle's ancestors - probably harmless." That's mean. I've always thought of gorillas as cute.
My opinion: both the "Michelle/gorilla" and the "let's have some perverts jump Sarah's children" comments were inappropriate. Letterman was far worse, but both were completely out of line.

The person who posted the comment is an idiot. Always assume that ANYTHING you post on the Internet, even a “private” email, will eventually be read by everybody.

I don’t think Michelle looks like a gorilla. She is just butt ugly, inside and out IMO.

Instead of saying the escaped gorilla was one of Blackie O’s ancestors, he should have said the gorilla had escaped to knock-up Obama’s daughters Sasha and Malia.
