Is anyone noticing how the MSM is trying to spin today's speech like Bibi made concessions to Obama? Bibi may as well have said, "when the arabs declare me king of the world, then we can have a palestinian state," because the little he asked of them they will not be able to comply with, as they never have before.

Exactly, CG. The headlines made it seem like Bibi complied with every last one of Obama's wishes. The MSM spins Obama diplomatic victories in their sleep. The chance the Arabs accept the deal that's on the table? Zero.

The Mideast will chew up B.O. and spit him out.

Both these pictures are from signs posted all over Israel

I argued with a friend of mine for nearly two hours over this. Bibi 's speech, without the ONE short paragraph appearing to endorse a PA state, was nearly perfect. But that short paragraph is what the world takes away, and it makes Netanyahu look like he caved and it allowed Obama to save face in the muslim world.

There are no "palestinians." How in the world does a polygenous population of junkyard dogs from every islamonation in or out of the region qualify as either a culture or a "people" deserving of their own state?

They DON'T. And Bibi NEVER should have even intimated that they did.

HEADLINES
1. JERUSALEM (AP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu endorsed a Palestinian state beside Israel for the first time on Sunday,

2. Netanyahu bows to Obama, accepts Palestinian "state"
Obama called Netanyahu's shift in position on Palestinian statehood as an "important step forward,"

3. Binyamin Netanyahu threw down the gauntlet to the US last night, grudgingly agreeing to a limited Palestinian state

4. Obama welcomes Netanyahu's two-state speech

5. WASHINGTON - The White House is welcoming Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu's call for the creation of a Palestinian state.

6. Netanyahu backs creation of Palestinian state

7. The prime minister endorsed the creation of a Palestinian state that would exist alongside Israel for the first time on Sunday.

8. Likud hardliners slam Netanyahu speech as too soft, Arab MKs say it was too right-wing, and Labor appears largely content

9. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address drew varied remarks from both left and right-wing officials Sunday. Rightists responded warmly to his attitude towards the settlements, but were apprehensive about his support of a Palestinian state

10, Much-Awaited Address
Netanyahu backs creation of Palestinian state

11. Prime minister endorses creation of Palestinian state but stresses any such entity will have to be demilitarized and acknowledge Israel as a Jewish nation

12. Netanyahu calls for demilitarized Palestinian state
Obama: Speech an important step forward.

REALITY:
SPEECH
The Palestinian state
If we receive this guarantee regarding demilitirization and Israel’s security needs, and if the Palestinians recognize Israel as the State of the Jewish people, then we will be ready in a future peace agreement to reach a solution where a demilitarized Palestinian state exists alongside the Jewish state.

From THIS text, out of the ENTIRE speech, these headlines ignored everything else...exactly like I KNEW they would. Obama takes credit, like I KNEW he would.
Amd I am still pissed! He should never have said it. Period.
