Tom Selleck, Jane Seymour, Lucy Liu, and hundreds of other friends and family members turned out to say goodbye to David Carradine at his funeral in Los Angeles Saturday evening.
Held in a chapel on the grounds of Forest Lawn Cemetery, guests arrived all manner of dress, including kilts, Native American headdresses, leather fringe jackets, sandals and multi-colored cowboy boots. Even a group of Hell's Angels was there to bid goodbye to the actor, who was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok on June 4.

A white hearse containing Carradine's casket arrived at the cemetery around 3 p.m., accompanied by an escort of Hell's Angels on motorcycles. The service started about two hours later after an estimated 400 people filed into a chapel on the grounds of the 400-acre cemetery to mourn the star, who was best known for his leading role of Kwai Chang Caine on TV's Kung Fu.

Following the service, a group of Lakota tribal members burned incense outside the chapel and gave blessings to a number of funeral-goers.

Um....the Carradines have been conservatives in a place where conservatism is hidden. The brothers Keith and David, both hosted shows on the History Channel about the old west, participated in Robert Stack’s celebrity shoots over the years, and are VERY pro-2nd Amendment.
Is this the guy who was narrating those west shows on the History Channel a few months back? his face looks familiar, i rarely watch tv & never movies so i don’t know anything about Kung Fu or Kill Bill.
He’s dead, in the ground. He’ll get his chance at heaven on Judgment Day, the second resurrection.
I try to imagine a home where that photo is proudly displayed ... and I just can’t do it.
Not something I think anyone wants to be caught in when they meet the LORD.
As for my personal feelings concerning his apparent act which lead to his death; I once had a friend who was only 35 when he ended his life in the same manner. It was not something that was known at the time. His wife told everyone that he had apparently choked to death on a sandwich while she and their child were away from home.
Latter she confided to my wife what had actually happened. At the time, even she didn't know that he was capable of doing something like this, and according to her, he had never suggested to her that he was into anything kinky or perverted. That was better than 14 years ago, and she has never remarried, or even dated.
Neither of us had ever heard of such a ridiculous method of sexual gratification. I stated then, that his method of achieving satisfaction sounded too much like a death trap designed by the devil himself.
No one will show up. Chuck Norris will be the last to go...
Technically that's correct, it's not suicide. But then, neither is Russian Roulette.
Why don’t you just mind your own business? You have some, don’t you? This is a funeral that’s pretty low on the Hollywood radar. Nobody needs your approval to attend funerals— that is unless Obama has regulated that recently.
Nah, that will be Keith Richards (nothing can kill that guy)
Being Undead doesn’t count!
Are you under the impression only people who agree with you can comment? I feel Carradine had enough money to hire a hooker to untie him if he made a mistake. He's set himself up as a horrible role model for countless teens who might think this is cool.
Wait and see - there will be more copycat deaths... done by kids who had never heard of this form of masturbation. Carradine was old enough and rich enough to have a "backup" hooker...
It's better that way.
LOL - you're right!
I believe the same. That's a true legacy to remember.
Prayers and comfort to his heavy-hearted family.
