She needs to let this go now...she should be gracious and move on. The truth is she’s much better off not being tied to them. She can say what she wants and do the appearances she wants. The bottom line is that she’s a celebrity because of all of this.

I’m sorry that happened to her. But now it is time to give up the Fairy Princess stuff and move on to grown-up things. She has demonstrated that she is very capable of doing that — moreso than many girls her age.

I wish her well.

How dare you agree with the majority of Californians and Obama. The gay mafia is going to attack every facet of American life. Soon there will not be a childrens channel on TV without several gay characters

I wonder what they will do if the NEW Miss California starts taking a hard stand against homatromony.

Wait...who won the pageant? All I know is Ms. Prejean will come out of this stronger and better off. In a year or two all the contestants will be long forgotten except for Prejean...she will be remembered and end up being the most successful!

To the gay community....Ahh, I was going to say something out of anger, so I won’t....because that would make me like you!

I would have a serious problem kowtowing to egomaniac Donald Trump & the queer community too.

I see her as the big winner here too.

Yep, reading the entire article, this woman was set up to be dethroned. Between wimps Lewis & Trump, Prejean didn’t stand a chance to keep her title. At least this is a snapshot as to the politics that go on behind the door.

I quit watch pageants years ago. They don’t have any allure.

There’s an EASY BUTTON for this dilemma.

Let’s hold a RED contest for conservatives,
and a BLUE contest for liberals.

There. Fixed it.

Miss California USA Carrie Prejean seems to be the whole package. Those pictures of her on the contest stage, are absolutely stunning. (and I’m generally a fan of brunettes) Her ability to think reasoned thoughts, also seems to reveal a person who is attractive not only physically, but mentally.

She has been addressing the answer to the question she was asked during the pageant, because that’s all people want her to talk about. She hasn’t been hateful. She’s just honest about her view of the matter. She’s not forcing her comments on anyone. She is being asked to talk about it. What’s the girl to do?

The nit-wit that asked her the question is the person who should have his ass kicked every which way but loose, but then who wants to address the reality of that? He asked a question she was hog-tied to answer, and then she is considered the boorish person.

She didn’t go on stage to tell people what her views on homosexual marriage were. She was demanded to respond directly to a question on the subject, as part of her involvement in the pageant process. And since monetary gain and contractual benefits hinged on it, I think that is highly objectionable.

Are answers to questions of buying off on homosexual demands now going to be required of all Miss USA contestants?

If what has transpired since Prejean answered that question honestly isn’t actionable, I’d like to know what is.

Miss Prejean, I respect your answer and how you have conducted yourself to this point. Good for you.

This is completely the fault of Donald Trump. It makes no sense whatsoever to hire a gay man to be a judge of female beauty. Obviously, he wouldn’t find any of the women even attractive, much less beautiful, so he could only be there for another reason.

UNFORTUNATELY, this morning I lost ALL respect for Ms Prejean.

I freelance for the network that interviewed her this morning

While being set-up for her on-air interview (putting in her IFB, mic’ing her etc.) Her mother kept trying to tell her things to say and do or remind her of things...
Carrie was nothing but mean and spiteful towards her mother including making a statement in the likes of “will you just stop with the stupid Sh*t” she then said to her mother “I mean..do you need to go stand in the corner.”

It was a disgusting display of arrogance and disrespect to her mother.

Tapes WERE rolling in NY among other places...so I will NOT be surprised if this hits TMZ or Youtube, etc....nor will I feel bad for her anymore.

I understand all believers are still sinners and that no one is perfect...however, this public display of obnoxious disgust was pitiful...and this girl has a lot to learn if she expects everything to just be handed to her in life.

Sorry if this ruins some of your perceptions of her or offends you...it honestly took me by surprise when some of my co-workers were laughing hysterically when I first arrived this morning...I then watched the off-air tape and was very very dissapointed
