Matt Lauer interviewed Gov Sarah Palin today. They talked about the gas pipe line and then got into the Letterman comment (from about the 4:00 minute mark). Sarah told it like it was when Lauer pressed her. Matt tried to excuse Letterman and Sarah said "he was naive" and then he really got interesting! Matt finally had to give in (even thou he tried to defend Letterman). Was great! REALLY WORTH LISTENING TO!

It was fun watching Lauer try to defend David Letterman and Sarah Palin kicking his ass on his inane comments.
I watched Lauer, what a jerk. I’d like to spit some tobacco in that dudes eye.
Ping for later.
Palin was on top of her game in this interview. From the pipeline, to Letterman, to the leader of the GOP, she was flawless.
Palin PING!
Anyone on or off the Palin ping, write me.
Best interview yet!
Outstanding!!!! I love how she would not let him interupt or cut her off. She is plain-spoken and on the right track. The pipeline deal is a wonderful addition to the resume of accomplishments for this Governor. You go Sarah!!! I’m right there with you!
I wish she would of said “If David Letterman was a man I’d have kicked his ass.”
Matt asked some tough questions but they were fair enough. Our future President responded magnificently.
That's for sure and that's one of the big reasons the left hates her. They are constantly searching for "authenticity" on their side and finding nothing but lies and corruption. Sarah shows them the real thing and they have a stroke and try to make it go away.
She was great....loved it when she told Mauer he would ‘have to be naive to believe’......lol!
I saw it. He tried to intimidate her and she responded by cleaning his clock. At the end of the interview he thanked her for being on the show, but I have to believe that he was thinking to himself .... “DAMN ! Why did I do that ?”
Take that, Katie!!!
I hated to give MSNBC a ping to their website, but Governor Palin nailed Matt to the wall. He probably thought he would be able to make her look petty and small, “Not able to play with the big boys”. She kicked his butt and did it with charm and a smile.
She certainly is well-spoken. Few politicians today, IMO, perform well “off the cuff.” She can express a complicated thought without hemming and hawing and forgetting what she started out to say. Also, she has an obvious command of the subject (pipeline, in this case). Doesn’t talk too fast or too slow. Her talking points got conveyed fluently.
If this were gymnastics I’d give her a 10.
