I don't watch his show. I work for a living and have to get up early and honestly never found him to be funny. I did hear his comments via the Internet. I went to CBS.com and watched a clip of his show that had Lexus as the advertiser to the clip. I wrote Lexus and received a generic BS reply about not purchasing specific time slots. No answer would have been better than a lame excuse. Needless to say Toyota was fired from the economy in which I control. In all I contacted about 5 sponsors and 1 (Embassy Suites owned by Hilton) responded appropriately. I cant control the world but I can control my family spending habits.

I'm with you. I'd like it very much if Letterman, by public outrage, lost his job. It would send a strong message to the left that we're not rolling over anymore.

And I could see myself being quite supportive if CBS did decide to fire him. I just don't feel comfortable (at this moment) calling for his firing myself. And I could easily be wrong.

My business has approximately 15 employees. I would fire any one of them in a minute if they publicly made "jokes" like this.

You have that right and that is a good thing. I have no problem with it. It's probably just a personal hang up but I have problems with *me* calling for his firing. I'd be happy if it happened, though... maybe I should change my mind on this.

Actually I have three sons, young adults. But even I have enough imagination to sense how horrified and devastated a young girl would feel if she were exposed to this kind of public abuse.

This situation really upsets me and it does so on a number of levels personal, social and political. It really pushes my buttons. I want legal, legitimate and overwhelming payback from Letterman and everyone in the media like him.

The liberal media double-standard must die. We must treat each other with respect or be publicly vilified.

We've got to watch video of the Today show interview. Morning Joe just showed a clip and Sarah was GREAT! Matt Lauer tried to railroad her and she interrupted and smacked him appropriately. The rest has to be great, too.
