Binyamin Netanyahu is expected to endorse a two-state solution in a much-heralded speech this weekend, but he may stall on American demands to freeze Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
Feeling the squeeze between the US Administration, which wants a moratorium on settlement growth and a commitment to a Palestinian state, and his national-religious coalition, which favours neither, the Israeli Prime Minister appears likely to try to steer a middle course.
Israeli newspapers were full of speculation about what Mr Netanyahu who has so far refused openly to back a Palestinian state alongside Israel might offer to deflect pressure from Washington. Ehud Barak, his Defence Minister, urged him this week to recognise a Palestinian state, but members of Mr Netanyahus right-wing Likud party have cautioned him against the move.

Maybe he has the same advisors as Cornyn, Sessions, and Brownback.
Yeah right....in other news the Pope is a Jew.

Used to respect and admire this man but...now? No respect, no admiration. He caved and it was HIS country. How disgusting.

I’m thinking of a two-state solution. After the election in Iran tomorrow, 1 state, Israel, bombs nuke sites in another state, Iran.
The “Two State Solution” has been the objective of the US government for almost 20 years.

Translation its all conjecture by the “Times Online”. They have no source and as usual, no earthly idea.
I don’t see Bibi ever doing this, especially because of alleged pressure from Obama.
Bibi doesn’t pressure easy. He’s the Mark Levin of the middle east.
Fear not.
remember this: every time these leaders try to give away land that rightly belongs to Israel, they end up in bad shape.
Don’t do it Bibi.
Reality is pretty vicious. The Lord hasn't shown himself in a while.
NO!!!! Don’t back down! Stand your ground!!!
Me thinks Bibi is borrowing from the Iranian playbook.

Sounds like he's going to propose a "state", demilitarized, retaining most of the population in the settlements, which has been his position all along.
But if it makes The One feel better to think Bibi yielded, so be it. No harm in an inept American administration being duped on this issue. But there are enemy states out there who will play us just as well.
How much is this going to cost US?
Who own the Times???
