CNN's Sanchez Again Teams Up With Media Matters To Slam Conservatives

Rick Sanchez, CNN Anchor; Eric Boehlert, Media Matters Senior Fellow; & Roger Aronoff, Accuracy in Media Analyst | NewsBusters.orgAnchor Rick Sanchez used another crazed gunman’s rampage to blast conservative media during CNN’s Newsroom program on Thursday, and brought on Media Matters’ Eric Boehlert as his aide to bash talk radio and Fox News. He hinted that the white supremacist who killed a guard at the U.S. Holocaust Museum, might have been “motivated to move by right-wing pronouncements...on some TV and radio outlets.”

Sanchez began his panel discussion with Boehlert and Accuracy in Media’s Roger Aronoff at the end of the 3 pm Eastern hour of the CNN program with his indicting line of questioning against conservative radio and TV: “Was there a tone in this country that was actually started with the election of our first black president that is bringing the crazies out of the woodwork, and are they being motivated to move by right-wing pronouncements, like he’s dangerous- he’s a socialist- he’s a Muslim, and he isn’t even a U.S. citizen? This is what we hear on some TV and radio outlets.”

After introducing his two guests, the CNN anchor let the left-wing partisan Boehlert “start with the premise” which, of course, echoed the preceding introduction: “I don’t think there’s any doubt since Barack Obama’s been elected, there’s been a complete unhinged reaction from the conservative movement in America, and sort of this vigilante and- and militia-style rhetoric has become a cornerstone of the movement, and certainly of conservative media.”

Rick Sanchez? Is that the same Rick Sanchez who struck and killed a man while driving drunk? That Rick Sanchez?

Rick must be venting some well-deserved guilt.

Can't expect the "urinalists" at CNN to do any fact checking before running with a story, can you? Like, the guy isn't a conservative - he advocates nationalizing industry and is right with Bawney Fwank on executive compensation.

Jerks.

Rick Sanchez would probably like to believe he's not in bed with people like Von Brunn, but there he is ~ and in the middle too.

Probably not a single substantive belief Von Brunn holds that isn't also held by Sanchez, particularly when it comes to the hatred they express for Bush, Cheney, Limbau, Conservatism, honesty, hardwork, children, etc.

We cannot hold back on this one ~ Von Brunn heard Obama trash-talking Israel and took that as an OK to go murder Jews. It was just like the President had given him an order!

CNN cannot be viewed as anything other than instrumental in the deed.

Yeah, because rush always refers to the mainstream media as “The Jew-Run Media,” and Fox News has its daily “Jew Watch” segment.

With all that on his conscience it’s a wonder he has time to lie about conservatives.

The guy WAS a convicted felon, however, so why did he have a gun in his possession at all? Isn’t that something that is ALREADY illegal?

Scofflaws are not representative of ANYTHING conservative.

But nutjobs are not representative of anything but their own shadows and illusions.

so sick of the wacko Lib double standard!!!

so, they blame Tiller’s murder and the museum shooting on right wings, even though there is no association with the killer’s with the GOP. Meanwhile, weren’t there reports that the Museum killer is associated with the British National party (why, that is neither GOP or Lib, is it?), and wasn’t he in fact trying to target the Weekly Standard, a neo-CON paper? What about those facts?

And yet, they fail to mention that the atrocious, vicious murder of one of our soldiers on American soil, Pvt. Long, was likely committed by someone who was influenced by the left-wing wacko anti-war movements? Nope, don’t wanna stain the left wing movement either, huh?

the hypocrisy, the double standards. Same with the harsh Letterman treatment of Palin, but no one would ever dare treat the Usurper with a similar joke.

This country is going down the tubes, and the Libs are enjoying every minute of it.

God bless our soldiers, and thank God for courageous voices like Limbaugh, OReilly, Beck, and Hannity, who are not afraid of the race card that everyone else cowardly fears.

I think we have more important things to worry about than the Left ramping up more nonsense of distraction in order to distract and hide something.

This is a video by the Heritiage Foundation titled 33 Minutes.

Be careful who you elect as POTUS and Congress.

Chris Matthews has some nutjob from NBC news discussing how Sarah Palin’s comments about the government wanting to control the people is what drove the museum killer.

Suppose if a conservative had been elected president, and the conservative had in the past associated with an anti-Semitic preacher (however unlikely that is). Suppose this anti-Semitic preacher had made a rant against Jews on the same day some anti-Semitic nut attacked a Jewish target. Don’t you think the media would be all over the president, asking him whether he has contributed to the climate of hate because of his past associations? But Obama can associate with anti-Semites and the left can be anti-Semitic (not just critical of Israel) and somehow the media blame conservatives for anti-Semitism when anti-Semitism has a very secure home on the left.
