Women's Advocacy Group Leader Blasts Letterman's Jokes About Palin, Calls for Apology

The president of a national women's public policy group on Thursday blasted David Letterman's "offensive" jokes about Sarah Palin and her daughter and called on the CBS late-night host to formally apologize.

"There's a saying that out of the heart, the mouth speaks, and Letterman's statement reveals a pretty ugly reflection of who Letterman may be," Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America, told FOXNews.com.

"When he said those things, they were thought through. He probably kicked them around with his writers who thought it was appropriate to say these reprehensible things."

“Defamation of character” charges for Willow(14 yr old) could be filed, because she is a minor (Not familiar with AK laws), in most states her parents would have to file. It would political suicide with the mainstream media if the Palins did...as they are political figures.

The conservatives and independents are the ones to make sure Letterman is fired, and writing letters, emails and calling sponsors will end Letterman’s career. CBS doesn’t want letters, but are left wing loons, so pressure from people NOT Wanting their ads on Letterman Show is way to go.
No doubt the quick apology was in response to calls, emails and fear of lawsuit by CBS...to appease viewers but was not heartfelt.

I have sent many emails to sponsors and CBS, as have all on my email address book. In fact, some sponsors have responded that they do not sponsor the Letterman Show, but that empty slots for ads may have used their ads...so Sponsors are “backing aways from Letterman” by truckload...KEEP IT UP DAILY FOR WEEKS and Letterman’s contract will not be renewed next time.

We need to keep calling for his contract not to be renewed. My email address book was sent info to write, call and I did as well. I received two emails back from sponsors denying they sponsored Letterman, that their ads must have filled empty slots..lol, it means the sponsors are seperating themselves from him, and my prayers have been for his total humiliation and loss of position.

Willow is an innocent girl who does not deserve to be the brunt of a perverted weirdos joke. In fact, it upset me when he said what he did of Bristol...this man does not deserve an audience, and God will remove him...he crossed the line, with all the Palin women, and because they belong to God, there is scripture for that “if God be for you, who can be against you?”.

Letterman’s judgement will be public and known, with all of our help the sponsors will drop him like a hot coal, or God will take care of it in his own way...We have a saying in Criminal Justic ...”he will get his “just deserts”.
