Christianity and Judaism are "joined at the hip." YHWH was the pre-incarnate Yeshua, thus Christianity is most properly viewed as the continuation of the Judaic faith, not the replacement of it.
Unfortunately, not all Christians have reached this level of understanding of the word (yet).
