If you tell the lie often enough people will believe it. The libs are going to tag this on us and who will stand in their way besides talk radio?
Mod clarification:
He was not a FReeper. There was one obscure article by him copied from some Norwegian news source website that was posted a while back. There was not hint at his antisemitism in it, it was a Birther rant and no one had any idea who he was. We pulled it initially just to review what it was but restored it pretty quickly so folks like those at MSNBC couldn’t lie and say we had racist rants by the guy.
Anyone can join, but any racist or antisemitic rants like this guy made would have him zotted quickly. He would not find any friends here.
Truly slanderous. No antiSemite would be popular here.
Maybe we need a thread of all of the Jewish FReepers expressing how we, Judaism as a faith, and Israel have been respected more here than in the mainstream media.
Here’s one post by that ID that wouldn’t jibe with this guy necessarily. Looks like he’s showcasing Israel’s raid on Iraq. (He’s not ‘praising it’ but the video link does).

Definately no surprise here. (Romans 11)
Jim has already stated on this thread that wannabegeek is not the guy.
Somehow I can’t see a 90yo man taking the nom de guerre of ‘wannabegeek’.
Sorry. I didn’t see Jim’s comment before I posted.
Van Brunn also decried the browning of America and wrote of a Jewish conspiracy to destroy the White gene-pool. He posted to various right-wing websites, including Free Republic, where this cached thread (the original was taken down) contains anti-Obama rants.

Also I believe the original is still available but who's concerned about facts at a time like this.
No need to apologize. I mainly posted it for other folks picking the thread up here :)
It was "Fund Race".

Mod, if links to HP are not allowed, please yank this post. Thanks
I didn't see Jim's post but that has to be right. The other posters (and evidently HuffPo and MSNBC) were thrown by the fact that someone here reposted the Obama birth post here (not anti-semitic, btw) from the other sites where it was posted or copied by JVBrunn.
It is called commie propaganda, not ignorance.
Freep’em.
Should be able to but probably can’t.
Thanks for posting, as I had seen it during election, but couldn’t remember details. Well Shepard Smith cleared it up that shooter had written that Obama was handled by Jews so he didn’t vote for him, and he hated Bush’s so don’t know where that NUT was coming from. He wasn’t one of us, that I know...none of us are racist or anti-Israel.
I know Jim R would have deleted anyone with hate speech from the website and banned them forever, as he has done it many times before.
Sounds very similar to good ole Rev. Wright’s statements yesterday morning. Gee, I wonder if Rev. Wright is the one who incited this act?
Von Brunn was sentenced in 1983 to 11 years in prison after being convicted by a jury and judge to whom von Brunn referred on his Web site with racial epithets. He served six and a half years in prison, and most of his sentence was carried out at the Ray Brook, New York Federal Correctional Institution.
After his arrest, he wrote a letter to then-Navy Secretary Jim Webb (now a Democratic Senator from Virginia) to create interest in his case, referring to himself as a “political prisoner.”

It was the city of Fresno that the claim was filed against and the lost.
The person that said it was fired.
I believe FR got a small settlement, most of which probably went to the lawyer.
“The poster they are talking about actually posted something the shooter wrote. Is that right?”
Right, Jim posted the link, the link for the article (at least by someone of the same name) still works and you can see the original article ... quite a few comments posted there but most are not in English.
Whoa, is all I can say.
I didn’t think you’d made the comment, sorry about not making that clear. I was just pointing out (as I’m sure you know) that we there are all kinds of posters on the forum, and some of them have very little business being here.
Or... Obama's Cairo Speech. That would have "excited" someone like V.Brunn a lot more than anything said here or on talk radio, or Fox News.
