I listen to Doc Savage every now and again and agree with him most of the time.
BUT not this time. Last night he was on a rant over Sarah Palin and her possibly becoming the next US President.
He made it very clear of his disgust for her and said if Sarah got in, it would be for moree years of Obama.
How SO?????
Is not Alaska the only State in the Union that gives money back to its constituents. Has a much better Tax code and is doing everything to promote Alaska for the betterment of itself and the rest of the nation (read Gas pipeline for the lower 48) and more Drilling
This does not sound like Obama and any democrat that I know.
I am not sure what the Doc is on, but IMO he is way off base on this.

That’s mighty noble of you to realize her potential. I agree with you on the being ready part. McLame’s handlers were worse than him and wanted him to lose. I can come to no other conclusion save complete incompetence. Palin should have never done a taped interview with the enmedia in the first place. She should have debuted in friendly territory - oh I don’t know, maybe Hannity with teasers on Special Report (when Brit Hume was managing edition and nothing against Bret).
I believe the candor you mention is exactly the weapon she can and does use to eviscerate and disarm an opponent. If she can get some Cheney lessons from the Man himself, I think she would be a serious force to be reckoned with.
I’d bet dollars to donuts Ms Sarah did steer the interview with Couric, but it ended up on the cutting room floor.
Further, I’ve certainly considered the options and admit I’ve been ever so slightly jaded by her family issues. It’s just a tinge of doubt, but not doubt in my belief in her ability to lead and do the right and proper thing to the best of her ability. I think she stops and thinks “what’s the right thing to do, what’s logical and reasonable”. I strongly believe in her value system and political philosophy. It’s not as conservative as mine or yours, but it’s close and the best we have except for Duncan Hunter (shout out to pissant!). I don’t think America is going to warm to Hunter, however, no matter what.

I must admit, it would be fun to see her elected as President. Leftist heads would simply explode. I think she’ll be more qualified in 2012 which will help her cause but the Media is obviously looking to destroy her. I personally will have no problem voting for her as President whatsoever but she may not be my first choice in the primary elections (or she may be). Everything else aside though, she gets a couple of extra points from me just because I know how much it would infuriate the left to see her elected.

Yes. But the main reason she would get my vote is she has guts but not the narcissistic ego that Barry has. She knows she doesn't know it all and would get help from the right people in the right venues. Scariest is one who thinks they are god....
