I listen to Doc Savage every now and again and agree with him most of the time.
BUT not this time. Last night he was on a rant over Sarah Palin and her possibly becoming the next US President.
He made it very clear of his disgust for her and said if Sarah got in, it would be for moree years of Obama.
How SO?????
Is not Alaska the only State in the Union that gives money back to its constituents. Has a much better Tax code and is doing everything to promote Alaska for the betterment of itself and the rest of the nation (read Gas pipeline for the lower 48) and more Drilling
This does not sound like Obama and any democrat that I know.
I am not sure what the Doc is on, but IMO he is way off base on this.

You started this thread under false premise, anybody can read your original words and see what you're implying Savage said which is not the case. Go to the archives and re-listen to the program, the title of the thread is correct but your following explanation is not, other posters have agreed with Savage's 'actual' assessment that Palin is not electable, and NOT your assessment of what you thought Savage said, "that if Palin were elected, it would be like 4 more years of Obama", Savage may be even agree with that but that is not what he said.
There has been no discussion other than yours that say that Palin is anything like Obama, just the usual assortment of mindless, inane Savage hater posters who could care less what Savage actually says, altho if Savage actually said that then the thread discussion would've followed along those lines at least from those of us who actually listen to the show and care about that issue. You have nothing to back up your Savage assertion, you need to admit you were wrong and that this thread is a disservice ala Jacqui Smith to the cause of Savage.
There's a lot of lies and disinformation here on FR and other places that have been going around concerning Savage, pls don't add to it unless you have the facts to back you up. This entire thread was a waste of people's time and FR's bandwidth because it's not based in the truth.

going to play in the big game you really need to be ready. She was not ready. I’ll give McCain’s handlers the majority of blame for the disastrous interviews for not prepping her adequately. First impressions are so hard to change. Her candor is refreshing, but this is politics, not beanbag. If she wants to play politics, she must learn how to eviscerate Obama in a way that leaves the mainstream media pitying him. She has to handle people like Couric in a way that leaves no misunderstanding who is in control. She should watch Cheney operate.

Savage even jokes about how he has few female listeners, most of his audience is made up of angry white males which makes it all the more surprising that you're not one of his legion of male fans being the angry white male you tend to always emulate.
Actually your wish for Savage seems to be gaining steam, Savage is losing heart which is becoming quite evident in his broadcasts from his taped 3rd hours to his many absences from his show. I sense impending retirement and happy days for you and your Savage-hating ilk.
Why don't we also suspect you of being a poser/pretender of Conservative causes? It seems to be a common trait for faux Conservatives to spend most of their time bashing Conservatives versus rallying for "borders language and culture" which they claim to be champions of.
All I ever see from you is defense of Weiner and bashing other Freepers and other Conservative talkers. How come I don't see you on other treads regarding Islamic terror, illegal aliens, or other issues?

I have always noted that the tougher someone pretends to be, the less likely that they are actually tough.
I would think that sitting behind a mic everyday talking about dog food would be easy, but to Weiner, it is too tough to the point where he daily flirts with quiting...only to tease us. Weiner sounds REALLY tough with his NY accent and his fake "Savage" name, and all of his yelling. In reality, Weiner is a steaming POS coward who is better off sailing away with teddy to some far away uninhabited island, so Weiner has nobody to hate or blame for his own misgivings in his own misguided life.
