After seeing these posts I stayed up last night to see if Letterman would address the issue on his show. After a lame dialog he went into a explanation of how he really didnt mean what was said, but continue to seek laughs about the issue. I dont normally watch Letterman, and last night convinced me, I never will. He is a very little man with no character. He is everything which is wrong with late night TV. Him and CBS deserve each other. He actually invited the Gov and her Husband on the show....what lack of class. If he really wasnt such a coward he would go to Alaska and see if his jokes work there. New York deserves better. I also saw the Lexus, Centruim, Listerine, ads. Those sponsors should be ashamed of themselves. I recommend a 30 day suspension by CBS of Letterman, but that wont happen. He is a Liberal, they arent held accountable.

RE: DL’s Invitation to SP for an Appearance

1. Sarah should make it clear that the virtue of her daughters and the honor of the Palin family are not pawns to be used in the “same old media game”. The statement made is appropriate and shows to all of America that the Palins are not going to stoop to such “politics as usual” levels.

2. Follow that up with a polite statement about how appearing on bottom-ranked late-night NY talkfest is not conducive to her task of serving the good Americans in Alaska.
