"At approximately 7:30 pm tonight Gov. Perry broke his right collarbone and received a minor abrasion to his right elbow due to a mountain biking accident near his residence," a written statement read.

Forget about the collar bone. Is his hair alright?

(just kidding...I’ve broken my collar bone myself and it’s definitely unpleasant.)

Ouch, that’s one of the most painful break points.
I wish him well.

His hair covers his empty head.

Collarbones are irrefutable proof of evolution. They serve no other purpose than to get broken in bicycle accidents.

Well, all things being equal, breaking your collarbone biking is not as moronic as
fracturing your ankle while WALKING in the airport...

The reporter has probably not biked very often.

Front tire going through an oil slick will give you a small scrape.

I figure the Gov. was probably doing some real mountain biking - nice downhill through a not-so-thick forest.

Yeah, broke my collarbone (and fractured a rib) riding a mountain bike. More or less sucked.

And just like this guy here -- you lose a lot of "cool points" with the rest in your group:

No kidding. I went to the CFISD board meeting tonight and was horrified to find out about HB 3646.

BP, you figure the guy was too far forward while moving? Too much weight forward and not enough speed on a downward incline, such as stairs or a rock will cause you to tip forward.

I should know, I nearly chipped a part of my front tooth off due to leaning too far forward.

Michelle would look much better if she DID buy her clothes at Walmart. Some of her get ups are unbelievable. Broad horizontal stripes around ‘her hips’!!
