Another “whore of Babylon.” She opened her mouth and exposed her corruption.
I agree.
Not just that, but taking the basic premise behind a cartoon meant for kids almost three decades ago and using it as the basis for a “serious” movie is absurd. Stuff like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gets away with it because TMNT was originally a comic, and because the movies have a sort of tongue-in-cheek approach to the subject material.
But you’re right, the action sequences were terrible. There are better ways to do “large machines fighting each other.” Reference Macross Plus and Gundam 0083. (The staff of Transformers sure as hell didn’t.)
To me a story is all about plot (not a very good one), character development (one good scene, the rest a wash), and action (two spiders batting at each other ineffectually at high speed).
Action needs to be decisive and clear. When you can't tell where one robot ends and the other begins, when the fight scene doesn't seem to actually be accomplishing anything; what is the point?
Almost since its beginnings, Hollywood has treated actors like performing animals. Most of them starve most of the time, and have to become utterly whorish to land even petty roles. This was why they were such easy recruits for communism in the 1930s and ‘40s.
Today, with big corporations owning “content production”, very few of them get all the work in high budget shows and movies, and most of them are left out in the cold.
Often they band together in sub-groups, like homosexuals, to try and force some favoritism on their behalf.
Women, especially, are as expendable as tissue paper, and know it. And anyone over a certain age can just forget about work at all.
The first one really did suck. I tried watching it (God only knows why)and gave up after what seemed and eternity. How anyone made any sense out of it I’ll never know. 1st somebody trekked across the Artic then some kid got an old car then big pieces of metal started banging and clanging around and then lots of things ‘blowed up’.
I wouldn’t tick off the redneck audience if I were her.
It was a UK mag, I am betting she thinks the people she is insulting won’t read it...thank goodness for the internet
She might be stupid, but she is a natural beauty AFAIK and gorgeous. And thankfully she doesn’t look anything like poofy-lips Jolie.
There is an old joke (?) about light traveling faster than sound...which explains why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
You’re right she probably is so stupid she doesn’t even know how to use a computer. This is truly a new low for a celebrity wishing for the death of probably more than half of her audience. I don’t think even Michael Moore has gone that far.
“Hey everybody I’m over here, look at me I’m important, I’m over here, pay attention to me I’m important, over here”
Just proves that along with ugly going all the way to the bone we’ll have to add stupid.
by nailing all the twenty somethings that had crushes on him a decade ago when he was still a teen idol?
hollywood is sh*t
You want to see beautiful women go to Amish country. They are clothed in Godliness and it really shows... They have have beautiful skin and lovely hair. No make up or skimpy clothes needed... I am a woman and I noticed how lovely their women are, even the older ones.
Megan Fox is the hottest babe to come down the Hollywood pike in years. Simply stunning. But in her case it appears that the beauty is only skin deep.
I just never knew that I was white trash. Geeez. Now I guess I know. Thanks Megan.
Her nose job appears to be very discreet to remove a bump. Unnecessary IMHO but well done. I don’t think she looks anything like Jolie. Unfortunately so many women nowadays have tattoos it’s hardly criteria for “copying” another actress.
It’s a shame she made the stupid comment, because previously she has made some very funny self-deprecating remarks.
It has long been known in Hollywood that to excel one must become in your face leftist. Ever since Julia Roberts said she found Republican in the dictionary next to Repugnant and Repulsive (as if she can read), then received an academy award a short time afterward, it has been clear that Hollyweird awards according to politics.
